David Bowie China Girl (Live by Request) HD
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Gilmours voice sound country in this live song , great track
💀
Dave is the voice of Floyd. Roger cannot pull it off without him.
Even Roger can agree with that.
Tiene talento Fish para este género musical!!!🥂💎
My favourite version
I like it better than Steve Hackett's corny remake from 1997.
Meraviglioso
I was absolutely floored seeing this lineup this perform in 1988 in Philadelphia, Scott page and Rachel Fury were key
There will never be another Pink Floyd ever! Brilliant!
Such a gorgeous chord progression.. Especially the bridge 🙏🏻
Only a China Girl can be a Chinese Rock 🌹
She talks about life itself in songs.
The drums are not really very motivating and even less the rhythm....
Wow! What an awesome and masterful performance by a music legend. RIP
Thanks for sharing the video. It's fantastic!! He had disappeared from the Net and I hadn't seen him for a long time. A million thanks
Novarecio cuando le duele lo saca del tema. Muy turno...
Li q me extraña q novarecio hablar . Pero llo veo sufrir ...
I loved the first woman clarinet soloist; I wish I could've played that well. She has a clear command of improvisation and key, and her embouchure is firm enough that it neither sounds pinched nor loose. Her playing really brings out the mellowness of a wooden clarinet, and I feel she was the best of the bunch. (Then again, even someone as good as Benny Goodman himself could squeak now and then... lol) I'm proud of that woman because she reminds me of the way I wanted to be when I used to play clarinet. Unfortunately, after high school, I had to stop and focus on my college work, and neither college I attended had a band for their teams. And now my embouchure strength is weakened significantly, and I can't play as well as I used to. I used to be able to do vibrato, but even when I was evaluated in school on my playing, my teacher tried to mark my vibrato as excellent, but she then found out that clarinets' vibrato was non-applicable, so she unwillingly had to cross it out. For some reason, clarinets are technically incapable of vibrato, but that's a load of BS. You can either do vibrato with gentle lip manipulation, or do it from the gut in which your airflow vibrates from gentle manipulation before it comes out of your mouth. I used the lip method; it was easier and my embouchure strength was great. But it was disappointing to me that clarinets "can't do vibrato" because if my clarinet teacher thought my vibrato was good when I was 12 or 13, then clarinets can sure as hell do vibrato 'technically'. :rolls eyes: Oh, well; all's hell that ends well. (a 'Two Steps from Hell' reference).
Doesn't really look like him. Never seen his setup with sticato drums.
Those are North drums.
Good grief, talk about a good tenor player. Dude freaking kills it! I dont know if that is Tracy because I've never actually seen a photo of him.
Beautiful!
Scott Page the best sax ever.
Seriously out there!
Steve Nieves (Loggins and Messina) 2 minute solo on Angry Eyes is untouchable. Give ii a listen.Best Ever.
Amazing ... Always! 🤩 And the Saxo ... Spechless!!!
Einfach super ,fast so gut wie Supertramp!
Had genesis gone with fish in 1997 we would have had a return of prog genesis
This is one of my fav Genesis songs and i love Fish's version too with the different twist of the soul singer at the end. Interesting reflections others made on what if Fish had replaced Phil C as Genesis Singer - i'm sure he would have done a good job but reckon he'd be bored out his skull by their later music.
I need help from fans of Miles Davis, especially those who are very familiar with one of Miles' most famous pieces -- "Tutu." I have a 2.5-minute sound clip that I recorded of the air that was broadcast in New York City around twenty-five years ago. It is a studio recording. It is absent from the data base of any online "music identification" app such as Shazam. However, I've been able to confirm (with the help of musical experts) that it is actually a unique redition of Miles' Tutu that is NOT performed by Miles. So my question to you is: Can any of you name a trumpeter who has ever recorded and published a version of Tutu other than Mile Davis. PLEASE LISTEN TO MY SOUND CLIP -- it will only take two and a half minutes of your time. Make a comment if you have any idea who the trumpeter is in this piece. (It is NOT Marcus Miller). Here's the sound clip: ruclips.net/video/68ND-5gyAV8/видео.html
peter is transcendent
I heard this song on a car commercial once, years ago.
This is the version I've been looking for!!! TY
Wow... Seriously? Less than 1k views... What's wrong people. This is one of the best Tribute to the Holy Masterpiece. Excellent work. That was amazing
No no no no no no way! Put on a Benny goodman record and you'll know why. You don't understand anything about his music. On the other hand, the drummer out.
Operativo escape en balsa del Titanic
Que crack es este tipo
awesome jazzists
Fenomenal
Outrageous concert and tribute to the King of swing
Is this song about speedballing ?
Totally and completely... Not even a metaphor, it’s literal.. Only a Chinese Girl can be a Chinese Rock 🙏🏻
He looks handsome here
This sounds great
GENIAL.
PERFEITA, CANÇÃO.
crunchy, noisy version of this masterpiece! I love it! Good vibes, positive energy! The drums player hits it hard and strong, good job!
This is probably my most played song for the last two years. I love it, and all its live versions. It is amazing how Bowie created so many interpretations!!! In this one his voice is low and especially beautiful.
love that kit and the mike cables. the king. no one sounds like him
Sooooo boring.
You serious bro?
So sad. He couldn't even do it in the original key. Pathetic...
I think that was the point, mate.
I agree. I really like the Script for a Jester's Tear... and that's it. Fish was born there, and there he died. Period. The ending of this cover is sooooo... daaah...
It was. Fish did this song because Marillion were always compared to Genesis(and he to Peter Gabriel). So, he didn't try to copy the original, or sound like Peter.
