Good evening and Happy Sunday... thank you for your video.. it was helpful and inciting... And I really like the concept of "revenge travel".. lol

I'm an ambivert so I can do both cruising and resort. In fact sometimes when I fly into a particular country I island hop or go to different regions with 2 or 3 different hotel stays so I can blend with the locals. However solo cruising is best because when I'm feeling introverted i wont have to acquiesce to the demands of what everyone else wants and I can finally go to sleep at my own leisure. Both cruising and resorting are fun. If you try another cruise try one that has an overnight stay at the port...that way you have more time.

NCL has better food

I wouldn’t say those are hidden costs as they are optional things. If you dont want to you don’t have to spend anything else once onboard… well gratuities you’re told in advance when booking what that will cost and can prepay. You can bring your own sodas and a bottle of wine or you can buy a liquor bottle to be sent to your cabin. Pictures aren’t really a thing at AI’s, but I’m sure if they had them, those would be at an extra cost there too. Gratuities are so well worth it! I always tip extra. Seems you would have been more familiar with all of these as a TA - it’s all covered in training materials. I think the feeling like you had to do this/that and not as leisurely- that was a mindset thing. Cruises can be as laid back as you want them to be, especially solo cruises! I’ve been on 25 cruises. So clearly I’m a cruiser. I’ve done solo cruises and I love them. I’m now married, and cruise with my husband. I also love AI’s.

Heyyy 👋🏾 I ❤️ SOLO cruising 🛳 the BEST! When I solo Cruise, I detox from my phone. I only use my phone to take photos. I don’t drink and no speciality eating. FREE taste better 😋 Depending on the activities, I may engage. I never 🛳 to meet folks, but I always meet cruise buds towards the end. I always book a balcony, the extra cost is worth it. You can retreat whenever YOU like and don’t have to wait on or answer to anyone. I would highly encourage everyone to experience solo cruising 1x. The 1st encounter is a bit weird, but as an introvert - this is BLISS 🥰 I’m turning 50 in January, and taking my Mom on her 1st cruise for her 75th on the Sunrise 🛳💃🏿🥳

I love love love cruising! Now I've never gone solo before but I wouldn't mind if need be! I was booked to go to an all-inclusive resort to Cabo last year so of course I had to cancel. But I most definitely want to do a resort soon. Enjoyed your review and comparison
