The Vangoa Pan Flute: A Tubular Little Instrument
Warm windy autumn vibes. That's the first thing coming to my mind. Wandering through lush green fields. Okay, the next time I should read the whole post before hopping immediately to RUclips . 😅 It's beautiful. I like the sound of the instruments.
Oh gosh, thank you so very, very much! Comments like these make my day!
Here's a video of the instrument being played ruclips.net/video/PdTTDLIGWdk/видео.html&ab_channel=SUZUKI
Very nice
Thank you very much!

Electric wizard
yo thats my grandpa calling from the dead
Ohhh!! I love this sound🥹
Thank you so much!!
Your instrument isn't broken. You are unreasonably expecting a particular version of concert pitch.
I dunno if I'm being unreasonable, cause I own several other 'hose-based' instruments, all of which don't fluctuate like here, ahah. It often feels like I'm having to hit the center of a dart board, every time I switch to a different pitch. Contrast that with my claviola, or melodica, and I don't even have to think about it!
@@BenElliottSound , if it fluctuates and different notes are sharper than concert pitch by different amounts then that is an issue. My impression from your video was that all the notes are always the same amount higher than a particular version of concert pitch.
@@MabInstruments Ah, my apologies for any lack of clarity! Depending on the amount of air pressure on a note I get with my andes, the pitch will either be sharp, or flat, but with each individual note, the amount of air pressure needed to maintain pitch fluctuates! This makes it very difficult for me to play a consistent melody without sounding out of tune, as it require constant breath control, and it makes controlling dynamics much harder! It's very different from every other melodion I've played! My claviola plays like a dream in comparison, aha. The intonation on that is wonderful.
Dude!!! I went crazy to see this and your video matches my excitement. Yes Sir!!! Getting One. Where should I go to get one?
Hi Ben! This sounds sacred! I've been taking a break from X lately, but I've been watching Ben's RUclips a lot. I also find your use of various sounds and effects helpful. Thank you for all your great videos!
I appreciate you so much, Macacu! You are wonderful!
literally the best instrument to ever exist
Ahaha, thank ya, Zak!
This is how Zelda music is made.

Gonna put pops on the clown vent when hes old
Hey, remember me when you get famous 👍🏿 Also, cool instrument review
Bro that is cool
Great song Ben!
Thanks so much, Andrew!
the thingamajig
The device...
the doohickey
the gizmo
Sounds great. Where can I get one?
Hi Guillermo! Unfortunately, the claviola is extremely rare, and hasn't been in production for almost 30 years!
Very unique instrument!
I'm very lucky to come across it, ahaha.
Hi! How long it took to practice/get accustomed to?
Hi! For the most part, I instantly picked it up, since I play keyboards! For this video, I'm holding it like an accordion, which is the 'traditional' way of playing it, but for the most part, I actually play it flat on a desk, like a mini keyboard! It makes it instantly intuitive!
I would love to see someone try to play death metal on it. Especially impending annihilation.
❤❤❤😊
make a little dinosaur sound like a big dinosaur
Normal Water Wistle: 🐦🍃🎶 Pitch, Reverb, and Amp: 😱😈😨

This reminds of "hi, my name is.. Charmander"
that was magical to my sensory system. it also kind of reminded me of an agogo-type sound.
I'm quite glad you like it!
well thats spooky as hell
Thank you very, very much! It's a wonderful library to play with! 😁
You should lower the reverb and give an acoustic test for the viewers, for an accurate review.
Try adding gopichand/ektara to your instrument collection. Even cheap ones have interesting pitch-bending properties
I'd never heard of that instrument before, but it sounds incredibly, incredibly interesting! Thank you very much for tipping me off to it!
@@BenElliottSoundNice to hear you liked it. Try also "scraper flutes" by Bart Hopkin, relatively new instrument, very interesting, heard it only a couple of times.
It's a Keyboard Psalmodikon
It can be played both bowed & Strummed.
This is so cool!!!
The effects you put it through is EXACTLY what went through my head 👀

Nice! soothing
Thank you very much!
Arrakis, Dune, Desert Planet
Ahaha. Totally.
Nice! which instruments were used? Only the lyre?
The hanago was used for the melody, as well as layering for the pad underneath! The bass is played by my harpejji, and there's some yukyu doing sustained string sounds in the middle. The percussion is also live as well! 😁 Other than that, there are some synths and electronics that fill out the rest of the sound!
por favor en donde lo puedo adquirir? y el precio cuanto cuesta? yo soy de quito ecuador gracias!
Hello! You can order them from Marcodi's website! www.marcodi.com/
That would fit one of Viva La Dirt League adventures
Thank you! :)
This is great!
Thanks a ton! :)
