LiftPort Group
США
Добавлен 10 май 2007
LiftPort is a space elevator company. We are working toward making soft landing on the moon, mars, and other planets and moons easier and cheaper than it is today. We are also working on an Earth Elevator that will make space travel to and from Earth easier as well. We are a growing company with many small branches. We have research groups to outreach groups. We are a fun loving but hard working group who is full of adventure and hope. We hope that one day we will make adventuring out among the stars and moons will be available to everyone.

I don't know why this video was recommended to me because, honestly, nobody cares. But you both are WOULD , so I can watch this video on mute.
Fantastic Video & presentation Dr. Mike "Coyote" Smith.
Looks better than Orion.
hi fellow Angela Collier fans!
14:36 . . . The "E" in "DIME" is *vastly* more important than the others ! . . . Should emphasize *GDP* (which is not shown sadly). That's why DARPA is attempting to kick-start a cis-Lunar sustainable economy (hopefully with NASA's full participation). btw, please don't let "DIME" slip to far into "DEIA" . . . for sake of future of US sovereignty.
💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
Glad you liked it. General Kwast is an interesting guest!
@@Liftport Definitely! Thank a lot for inviting such an interesting and knowledgeable guest! ❤
Awesome interview guys!! Best of luck Gary!!
Glad you liked it!. Yup, Gary & his team are doing really cool stuff. It's been fun tracking his progress for the past 3 years!
Interesting channel to stumble upon
Glad you think so!
Uhgg Nasa are liers . Now ill be considered a troll, but even trolls speak the truth at time. But we never even made it on the Moon and can prove that fact.
Spelling corrections: "Liars" + "NASA". I'm not going to be able to correct your belief system about landing on the Moon. We did. But I'm not gonna be able to convince you of that.
@@Liftport just remember for the sake of this conversation that i met the real CIA while in the Army.. Now what is that to this convo/? while in Vietnam i saw the real Opium Pushers and they were with Air America a CIA black operation😇. AND they lied also..🤨
I remember 🎉 💃🏻
I remember, too! ;-)
The audio quality is difficult to listen to because of the echo. For future shows, can you do this in a different room or with a different microphone?
Hi. I think we've fixed most of these issues now. Thanks for your feedback.
The Balloon incident is scary!!!!!
We're (LiftPort) is gonna look into getting back into the 'high-altitude research' side of the business. We're gonna look at balloons, and robotics, and mechanics work again. Fingers crossed!
Thank you!! This amazing man is right and we should all listen to him.
I agree! Get Kwast was one of the earliest supporters of (what is now known as) Space Force. He has a useful crystal ball! ;-)
Could the powderized iron be used as feedstock for a metal 3d printer?
Yes, I think so. China recently took some of their Lunar samples and turned that into oxygen (and rocket fuel!) And I know that some companies are looking into "smelting" (CisLunar Industries) space debris into raw ingots for 3D printing. So, based on that, I'd say it was very likely that this can be feedstock.
Very interesting!
Thanks! I'm glad you liked this. We're beginning to build our our direct one-on-one interviews with folks. Tonight, we've got Robert Zubrin, Ph.D., the founder of the Mars Society!
❤❤❤
Yup, I'm a fan of Gen Kwast!
It took nearly two years to post this video from December 2020? What am I missing here?
No, you're right @brian. We have a LOT of videos in our archive - that have not seen the light of day! Maybe 100-150! We just added someone from our team (Shout out to Yoosef!) to work his way through our unpublished videos and get them out into the world! On top of that, we have about 30 hours of raw, unedited, content from our other live events that we're working to roll out. While he's doing this, we're upgrading our playlists with better descriptions, and more videos in each category. I hope you enjoy them. Thanks for commenting; it tells us that folks are paying attention to this channel. ;-)
I wanna be one of the odds and ends! Count me in.
I, too, WANT you to be one of those 'odds and ends'. I'll help however I can! 🙂
Omg!!!!!! Totally Awesome!
Ya, it's fun to see these ideas taking shape - and can't wait until it actually gets built! Progress is incremental, but it's still progress!
Exciting! Makes it believable that this could actually happen within 10 years.
Ya, I'm excited about this! I've never considered myself 'a Martian'. I've always been 'a Lunatic'. But this is the best rationale I've ever heard for building a practical and sustainable settlement on Mars.

Not sure this is what you are proposing, but How about a Moon Society Video Journal of Artemis? If I may Recommend some Space Journalists for such an activity. Marcus House ruclips.net/video/3Ma_Db-KBAA/видео.html The Angry Astronaut ruclips.net/video/U1j8WJQu_RQ/видео.html Astrum ruclips.net/video/bK57JJ5MMCA/видео.html ruclips.net/p/PL2gLpWRK0QlAgdgUEKGbpEJ8GVtER4VDU Scott Manley ruclips.net/video/EIodnH5aFI8/видео.html Curious Droid ruclips.net/video/v4St7s0eD6A/видео.html The Vintage Space ruclips.net/video/14oiKBRXXAc/видео.html Anton Petrov ruclips.net/video/kaDFdJ41xpg/видео.html Joe Scott ruclips.net/video/jbhck-i1EpA/видео.html and Universe Today ruclips.net/video/lAIwADXGHwU/видео.html These Journalists have great content and regularly interview experts in the field. As many of them already cover areas of Artemis, lunar history and science, permission to compile and distribute a monthly journal documenting the progress of Artemis should be straight forward and help spread the word of the return to the moon. I am surprised Fraser Cain is not already doing something similar. As the 200 plus missions reach the moon, I have a feeling there will be plenty to talk about. www.sci-news.com/space/moon-hydrogen-map-11022.html
Hi; yes, that is something that we're considering with the publishing company. They are looking for qualified experts to build an ongoing (quarterly) "book" of topics.
Just think of all the new space projects that have ended over the decades because there was not a reasonably cheap launch provider. I hope a lot of them are resurrected when vehicles like New Glenn and Starship SuperHeavy come on line.
Like a massive solar farm like you said.
Excellent Series, I recommend it!
Yes it is very good.
Thank you I would love to work with you. I weld aluminum M30 boats for the US Army and am interested in learning more about K TIG.
Always, always, always good and inspiring to see Rick speak.
How many regolith 3D printing machines are developed or in the works?
All we can provide are good guesses because the businesses are private about this; their trade secrets. What we can say is that there are at least 2 groups in Florida, 1 in Texas, 1 in Washington and 1 in Australia working on these on such developments. Of course there are probably more, but those are the ones that we're aware of. There's also several "powerpoint machines" in progress, meaning that there are fictional ones that could be developed as the necessary resources are acquired.
@@Liftport Thanks for your response.
Very interesting concept. 💡
We're glad to hear you enjoyed the content. We hope you're enjoying some of the other speakers as well :)

As hard as it is trad!ng Crypt0 is way more lucrative and is quite logical if you just study the charts and the support resistance and pay attention to what's going on, I’m not a pro tradr but I was lucky enough to make 16BTC since late last year following the instructions and s!gnals of tribesmen who runs guardianship for beginners and invextors who lack understanding on how trad!ng Bitcoin works to help them utilise the volatility of the crypt0 market and also stack up more bit;coin. Following 5 years of misfortune with various stages, Christopher encourages me acquire BTC from 1.3 to 3.8. He truly is a virtuoso
The explanation I exchange with Christopher Signal is on the grounds that they are consistently precise and will help in any event, when the market breakdown
BTC is still the most respected currency. BTC to the skies
You're right! bitcoin is so unpredictable
Trading and taking out your profits is the safest bet. SMH only few people knows about this great opportunity
Has anybody thought of a Lunar Space Elevator acting as a solar panel array? Might be a great way to distribute power on those long lunar nights.
Absolutely awesome discussion, though it would be good to police people not muting their microphones while eating etc as it is not a pleasant thing to listen to.
Thanks. Glad you liked it. Would love to get more feedback: Which day/session/topic was especially interesting? (and ya, we'll pass instructions along to the MC's to ask for people to mute themselves more frequently.
@@Liftport I haven't finished catching up on all the talks, there's been a lot of content!
Great discussion. Thanks for posting.
Thanks Matthew! We're gonna take each speaker/session and clip it out as a stand-alone video. That will make these events a little more 'digestible' so that you don't have to commit two or three full days to watching this stuff live. Which part(s) were especially interesting to you?
@@Liftport That's a good idea.
no sound
Sorry. Sometimes the re-streaming software doesn't kick in. We've a different recording that we'll post to replace this one.
3:16 a highly appropriate start time ☺️
7:10 is when the rubber hits the road 🙈
Starts at 4:13 ✌️
Thanks! Correct. Next time, we'll try to match this up a little better. We started the event on the dot of 10am, but we started the recording a bit earlier.
LiftPort Group - ~13:13 ". . . we do not [yet] have experience doing this stuff. . . " Will we use telepresence [cryogenic] robots to mine the frozen volatiles in those polar cryogenic craters? Every gram of water will be very valuable. And the other cometary volatiles - CO2, NH3, etc. - will be important for "farming".
