Good morning from Edinburgh!

I am a member of Father Steven’s congregation in Cookham. He doesn’t know me but might recognize my face! What a wonderful testimony and a proof of God’s ability to miraculously change our hearts. I was in tears listening because my testimony has similarities to his, not the same but in some ways very similar. After experiencing Gods power we will never be able to leave him despite the pain of life on earth. The glory is the Father’s the Son’s and the Holy Spirit. An unchanging love the same which worked in the Old Testament, and The New. It’s still the same power and not different in any way after all that time!

Martin and I visited the torture chambers where prisoners from Pawiak were taken during WW2. Our Polish friend is a teacher and had recently had to take her class to visit the prison complex and Gestapo headquarters. It was a bit too much for some of the children.

Hi Mr Simmonds - I had a wonderful walk around the Cookham area Sunday with my Airedale, the heavens opened after a few minutes and I had to return to the church porch to shelter and then to collect my coat. The rivers running down the footpaths and roads were amazing! Whilst sheltering I saw your team photo and wanted to contact you to say hi. Beautiful amazing walk, views and I think I saw a Green Parakeet? (or did I imagine this as just saw a flash of green?) . I think God was with me on the day of the walk as then we had glorious sunshine! Great to see you and hope you and family are well, my family and I are over at Three Mile Cross was a small village but seems we've had hundreds of new builds built and glad to see Cookham hasn't gone this way. I thoroughly enjoyed the area and I thank you for your You Tube content which I've been viewing. Much appreciated and thank you for your time and effort-, help and support (present and past). I also thank you for your reference letter from many years ago which helped me secure my first job. You've probably forgotten this as it was nearly 40 years ago....Thank You, take care.
