I think them revealing their secret identities didn’t necessarily get them caught but him calling her m’lady over the phone while making plans for their date did since that’s what he calls ladybug both in private and public and everyone knows it including Gabriel… and I liked that they pointed out him rubbing his ring finger especially since even after showing him his mother to akumatize him he was still resisting and had to twist the ring to reinforce his compliance and make him finally give in like everyone else unlike with cat blanc who not only did he not twist the ring but blanc ended up killing everyone with the blast he basically tried to use on himself since he couldn’t bring himself to aim at ladybug but couldn’t fully resist his father/the akumas influence it’s like his love for ladybug was the last thing he had literally on earth since the rest of his self got washed out from being akumatized (at least that’s my theory) AMAZING video btw

It sucks how Felix had to betray ladybug to free himself but I also think he could have been not only more selective like maybe don’t give the insane miraculous fanatic all but the 2 miraculous he needs to make his wish maybe give him 4 and say that’s all you found or all she had left…. It’s crazy how both times he’s akumatized Adrien he first traumatizes him with the sight of his (supposed to be dead) mother both emotionally and mentally weakening him before ordering him to directly attack his girlfriend/ super-partner someone he repeatedly dives in front of and doesn’t hesitate to use himself as a distraction for the bad guys cause he always has full faith that she will get it all fixed in the end.

It’s sad how accurate the fact that he’s willing to repeatedly betray, physically and psychologically torment his own son for the sake of achieving his goal is even if it means crushing his sons true love in the process

And in one episode where Gabriel siad on felix "i cna just snap my finegr ma dyoull be gone (i think I didn't remember it) an dfelix said " You wouldn't dare". That's why felix was eager to have the peacock miraculous. About on controling i can't explain it somehow since the movie didn't expain it well i guess we will find out in the season 6 if hes really a senti or not.
