We drove 4000km across Russia Part 2 Vladivostok to Lake Baikal
We made it to Lake Baikal! We drove 3800km from Vladivostok to Lake Baikal over 11 days (including rest days). It was a very enjoyable drive, the roads were not the greatest but the landscape was amazing. We drove in autumn and saw the trees changing colour.
We spent 7 days at Lake baikal, camping, camp fire cooking, watch the amazing sunsets and just relaxed.
Mongolia you are next!!

Namhae - German village in South Korea /// Deutsches Dorf in Südkorea

We visited the German village of Namhae along the southern coast of South Korea. We were surprised, how much it actually looks like German. Food and beer was delicious and you can buy a lot of German souvenirs and food! It is very hot and humid at the moment in South Korea and we barely sleep in the car, it is not fun, we decided to sleep in cheap hotels during our stay in South Korea to really...

Very beautiful Russian country
Traffic jams especially last summer were terrible bc the government suddenly decided to pave the roads around the city same time...
Russia is really big and diverse, so you should definitely explore the European part of Russia as well.
We plan to explore the wester part at a later stage too!
this is my dream
Don't just let it be a dream, you can do it!
@rightfoottravel we do around 3000 miles in Europe each year at the moment and only restricted to the time we can take away due to commitments. Next year we are hoping for 8 weeks in Europe and then to be able to stop working in 3 years so we can go further and longer. Its going to happen for sure.
Thanks for the video, interesting indeed. Keep it coming ❤
SO nice ! Love your trip! I will get there some day 💗
Definitely make the effort, it is well worth it!
Welcome to Kazakhstan sity Semey
Not interested in anything that supports Russia… go explore a civilized country.
I'll upload some Mongolia videos soon, they might be more to your liking ;).
isn't Russia a civilized country?
Nice movie big trip fantastisch keep on. Thanks 😊
We used a small drone 🙂
Случайно увидел первую часть Вашего репортажа, но обрадовался, когда нашёл вторую!😄
Glad you enjoyed watching our little adventure :D.
Merci de nous montrer la beauté de la Russie. J'espère y venir un jour
You should, it is well worth it! We are in the altai region atm, at it is our favourite bit so far!
OK, I see the truck stop and fuel stops. I am surprized by how much truck traffic is there!
Same, where were surprised too!
Where are the FUEL STOPS?
All over the place, mate. No problems here.
Great Trip !!! But when was this actualy done??
We took the ferry early September.
Hzj her Majesty the "Queen" ...the Real Deal 🤝💯
Great video! Welcome, good people are welcome here!)) Greetings from Russia!))🖐️
I also recommend the Karelia region of Russia, which is on the border of Finland. There are many rivers and lakes, an absolutely amazing region, but it's better to go there in the summer.))
Thanks mate, we are considering a visit to Moscow and St Petersburg at a later stage, we look into it.
Where’s the fishing rod…… I’m howling.!
Haha yeah we had a couple instances where we wished we had one with us. Unfortunately before leaving, we just couldn't find the space for the fishing gear :O.
Have a greet time. greetings from Germany.
First rate content on your channel. I hope youtube gives you a boost.
Thanks mate!
Hallo I enjoy your video very much, but what want you to do in Germany? All these things you can do in Russia or Australia or etc... in Germany the most tracks or so are forbidden. Greetings from my TLC 78 from Germany. I am going for several months to North Africa. Perhaps we get to gether somewhere?
I (Andy) am original from Germany, so we making our way back to visit my family. We are considering spending some of the winter 2025 in northern Africa, we would love to meet other traveler.
@rightfoottravel We will be in northern Africa and Western Sahara from December to end of February. Your story is very fascinating. I never heared that Australians come to Germany by a Troopy. We live in Munich, best greetings.
@@gabyherrmann9894maybe we manage to catch up to share some stories over a beer, I am keen to see Munich again and thr misses had never been. We will be in germany end of next year.
@@rightfoottravel Oh yes we have to contact us next year, in Munich or so, have a good time for you 2 and the Troopy.
Beautiful video, just came across Ur channel and I have subbed. What is the cost of shipping all the way from Aussie to Russia pls?
Very cool adventure y'all have undertaken to be sure! Might I offer a suggestion? Maybe look into getting some sort of external mike as some of your audio isn't that great. Sorry if that's kinda nitpicking lol.
Thanks for the feedback, constructive criticism is always welcome. We do have the dji mics, but I can't connect them to my phone, need to look further into it. But yes that is the main thing I want to improve on and overall video quality.
Great adventure I so envy you. I always wanted to drive from Australia to Europe. Preferably in some ancient car sponsored by the same car company so I could afford it. A question why can you only drive 90 kilometers an hour in your Toyota?
Wouldn't that be the dream! We wish Toyota would support us, we even went to the factory in Japan where our car was build ^^. 90km/h is the speed limit on Russian highways.
@@rightfoottravel Buddy, I'll tell you a little secret as a Russian! In Russia, regarding the speed of traffic on public roads, there is such a rule - the allowed speed and + 20 km per hour. This means that at the permitted speed of 90 km per hour, you can exceed the speed by 19.9 km per hour (109.9 km per hour) and such a violation is not penalized, but if you exceed the permitted speed by 20-40 km per hour, this is already a fine of 500 rubles.))
@@Andrey_Bodrey75haha yeah that explains why everyone is flying past us and getting a bit impassioned behind us ^^
Russia looks amazing and you look like you’re having a great time. Did you get your Russian visas in Australia?
It truly is amazing and we will soon re-enter Russia! Yes we did apply for a multi entry visa beforehand in Australia.
Im watching from New Zealand, I subbed you, and I am enjoying the Russian countryside have a fantastic journey
Thanks, glad you enjoy it. Russia really does have some amazing landscape.
Great to see you in Russia! Really glad that you enjoyed the trip to Russia! You are always welcomed here.
Thanks, we truly loved our 4 weeks there and in fact we will return to Russia in the coming days to drive through the altai mountain region.
What a great video. I just found you guys so now following you from sunny Cairns 👍👍 I’ve got a bit of catch up, &.
Thanks mate, got a fair bit from Japan and other informative ones about the ferry crossings etc for ppl that would like to do the same trip.
Nice channel! I'm following :D When are you planning to be in Germany? Safe travels
Thanks mate, we plan to be in Germany next year December to spent Christmas with the family. Looking forward to spent lots of time next year in central Asia!
sorry but you must be a little crazy. considering that people are advised not to enter Russia with the ongoing war in Ukraine. you are extremely vulnerable as a tourist in that country. get out of there quickly before the Russian police catch you. you will probably end up in jail just because you are from a NATO country. take care of yourselves
The are Ozzy's! So asking yourself about being a little crazy... I think being in Russia isn't a big deal. Russians I know are nice people. Just don't start talking about political preferences.
We spent almost 4 weeks in Russia and in our experience customs, police and everyone else were very friendly and welcoming to us
We had not one bad encounter and everyone was very friendly and welcoming to us.
@@rightfoottravel That's not the point. You show a sympathy for a people who doesn't dare to rise up against a terrorist leader. And, you give financial support to that regime, however small your contribution to the Russian economy is. I have been very curious to visit Ukraine and Russia, I had planned to travel there in 1922, but I cancelled my trip back then. For your own pleasure overlooking the terrorism and genocide Russia is committing since the invasion is inexcusable. Especially now Trump won.
You consume too much false and hypocritical Western propaganda, which has been used since childhood to brainwash citizens by their authorities and corrupt media. Please clear your eyes, ears and brain of all this crap and learn to think like an independent adult.
Welcome to RF! 😊
long format videos are cool 🙌 depending on the content as some youtubers split them up in case one big one gets a takedown
Thanks for yiur feedback, I'll keep that mind and might release some Mongolian videos (Gobi desert and western Mongolia) soonish in a bit longer format.
We hope you enjoyed the drive as much as we did. How did you enjoy the Far East of Russia?
That is utilizing every inch of space. Cool set up.
@@emptynest2travel spot on! No space is wasted
Great information Andreas many thanks for sharing.
Thanks, I hope it has all the info you need, in case you want to do a similar journey.
I have been in traffic for 5 hours
Then don't come to mongolia
Well as you can see, we already fought our way through the traffic :P. Still enjoying Mongolia regardless :D!!
Thank you for the video. Very nice.
Very nice. Thank you.
Have you seen pets inside ? where they put them ?
The pets go into a special room and only the owners are allowed inside
the mongolian courecy is called Mongolian Tugrik
Thanks, yes we learned that shortly after ^^.
If you got any questions about the ferry, comment below and we try to help!
Only the cost pls ?
@ we paid $1,695 USD which included 2 people, car and Korean port charges plus there was fees at the Russian ports. The price varies based on size and weight of your car too 🙂 these were prices for September 2024
@@rightfoottravel ....thank u
