Why are some songs listed by Khanza and some by Avedis?
Hi there : I often do more than one version of a song lyric and there are multiple choices of tunes, somewhat like choosing one studio mix over 20 others with all having some magic somewhere;so I created Khanza as an alternative and maybe down the road will post another version of the same song lyrics in a different genre but under Avedis... I did both when posting my New Years song a few months ago...the same song lyrics and totally different genres... there are many good alternate versions I haven't used and are still in the bank...it's fun to try new stuff...remember the #1 hit "It's All in the Game" from the late '50's..the songwriter and producer recorded seven versions of the tune each time using different studio players until they hit the magic #7 session ..so now you know ,it's not only what you hear but now can be asking "what the heck am I not hearing"..even with Cameron's listening input its often hard to choose which genre and version to post ..like I say I've never had so much fun so I'll keep going as long as lyrical inspirations keep coming..By the way, I don't want you too think everything I do sounds so good, I experiment in fusing genres to find something new ..it doesn't always work but when it does it's exhilarating..Well I rambled on a bit but I hope you got your answer,have a great one!

Gerry Ptak swapped basses with me the day he recorded this song. He had a '59 P-bass with a Gibson pickup and guts, and I had a Jazz Bass, which he felt would sound better for recording. I played that bass for 3 years, until I bought a new P-bass. I still have both P-basses, although the one I got from Gerry is no longer in playable condition.
I attended the 50th reunion of CTHS this past weekend. There were over 200 classmates there. You were missed, but part of the entertainment was this video. Thanks for making it.
