    No way to know how much rain will fall. What if the system stalls, and sits, or circulates back around and storms the same place with high amounts like TS Allison did to Houston in 2001.

    Where are the OUTRAGEOUS TEXAS PROPERTY TAXES bearable ?

      Good question. It may help to know that paying around 3% in property taxes is VERY normal here since typically those homes are relatively new and zoned to great schools. If you are looking for anything less than 3% property taxes, you will find a little older (well-established communities) and decent schools attracting lots of investors to invest. Are you looking for a residence? investment? Do you have small kids where the schools will be important? The answer to these questions can help you live in a great area with a minimal amount of taxes. Look at homes north of Houston for the most part (Spring, Klein, Tomball, etc). Definitely stay away from newer parts of Katy, and Richmond if you absolutely need to avoid high-tax areas. Although there are areas of Katy that are "older", have AMAZING schools, and you are not paying as high of a tax... Houston is HUGE and there is definitely a home for anyone in his or her situation.       Stay away from west Katy area like in Fulshear where property taxes are an astronomical 3.5%. Then you also have a high HOA. Many retirees are moving out of that area because of those property taxes which are going higher because of all the new schools, police and fire departments, etc.

    People need to read the loan documents before they sign. Some mortgages require you to actually pay down to less than 80% of the original purchase price and will not accept higher newly appraised values. Subscribed! Hopefully you will enjoy the content on my channel enough to do the same.
