Due to all the notifications from Phillips and the CPAP community of the foam deteriorating and possibly being breathed in, I took it upon myself to remove the foam from both my machine and my fathers. My machine was new android the foam came out easy. My fathers wasn’t so easy. All the foam had began to fall apart and removal was a pain due to the foam falling apart during removal. There’s no ...
Hello. I see you have installed the back up camera and then might be the reason you trying to find the fuse for the reverse fuse to connect the camera trigger wire to. If that is the case. Please let me know which one of those hidden fuse is the back up light. Thank you
I have a constant beeping sound when I put my truck in drive and reverse. IT"S LOUD. I also have a "Brake booster" light on now. I think I caused all of this by removing the old box. The previous owner had a 'glass box' on the back for advertising. We only removed wires associated with the box and nothing else. Not sure why it's got a constant loud beeeeeeeeeeeep when I put it in gear. Any advice would be great. Thanks
If you drill round holes, you can use salt/pepper shaker stoppers made out of food-grade plastic.
Easy way. Drill hole on each side to remove foam. Go over to Lowe’s by nuts and bolts trays. Tell salesperson you need plastic push plugs the same size as the drilled hole. Less than 2.00. Nice and easy and quick. Make sure of plug size…
Been using So clean for years ,My foam looked perfect.I still removed my foam.Just soak in warm water . Foam will fall apart and come with water. No drilling .
How long did you soak it for, and where did it come out from?
Sorry phone died.Around 15 min foam came out the bottom slot.
@@mycontinental3611 Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I left it submerged for 20 minutes and I saw no change in the foam. Guess I'll drill it out now. I guess it was worth a try. I may try a solvent.
I pulled my five-year-old machine apart and the foam was still like new only difference is I don't use so clean?
Great job have done the same 🦘🇦🇺👍
Holy Poopcakes!! Seeing the size of the foam particles in your video just brought home the severity of this situation to me.
Um, you didn't show your process. How did you disassemble the unit to get to the turbine unit? Where did you drill?? And once you did, what was the removal process??? This video left me with more questions than answers...
That's exactly like mine was, except more was missing from the foam chamber, hate to think of where that went!!
Did you use the “so clean” device?
@@robertpadilla1540 Yep, and still do....after removing the "foam"!!
Are you going to upload another video showing where you drilled and how you sealed it?
Thanks for the video! What material are you using for the 3d printed plugs? What are you using to adhere the 3d printed plugs to the dreamstation foam chambers?
