I was getting too much penetration with my original cast, so I add some pure lead and got it down to 8 BNH and the results were fantastic

First test run of my new Tuxing TXEDT032 4500 psi Compressor with no whip attached
Firstly DO NOT use thread tape as it will blow eventually, causing a leak. Thread tape cannot take the high pressure generated. Secondly, what you SHOULD use to seal the joint is a Dowty washer. They look like a metal washer with a rubber insert, and are used on joints on high pressure machines. They were originally invented for hydraulic applications on aircraft, but are also commonly used on high pressure air systems. Properly used a Dowty seal will not leak on a joint like this.
Hi, I have noticed you had pretty high temperature ... in C it was up to 67C i believe and everywhere i have read it should not exceed 60C otherwise the plastic cylinder rings getting broken. What is your experience is it still works fine with that temperature? Havent you noticed slower compressing or other issue? Im about to order one thats why im asking. Thanks. Cheers

Seems like these are a good alternative to a REALLY high priced diving compressor. If you cruise eBay, hou can buy just about any part needed to rebuild or fix these things straight from "tuxing". I have one of the basic models on order, and will be adding my own water cooling, and drying.
It's very noisy as the single cylinder model I have. I want to ask you if you going to choose between Gx pump cs 4-i compressor capable of 5000psi/400bar and is able to run also on 12v and house power supply and is very quiet costing around 1200$ and this model which at the moment coast around 850$ which one would you choose by main value being longevity without maintenance and sound level as second.
That's a hard one. I have a hatsan that has 12 volt with it that I take hunting, but for home, I don't the the 12 volt is necessary so I think for my purposes, this one is best
add springs to the mounting points and it will take away 1/2 the vibration. If you get the right diameter it will fit inside the rubber compressor mount. Cheers!

Did you buy this through Amazon or directly from Tuxing. I'm guessing directly as you are making do with home made tank cap. The issues you have had keeps me from buying. If customer service would improve dealing across the pond, but that's a hopeless thought.
I got it from Amazon. I don't know why the cap was missing. It was an easy fix. I've had it a year now and it's still running good

Hi I have almonst the same compressor, only difference in mine is that I don't have the water tank and radiator I thinl you shoul use the other screw to bleed the air The right side filter, the one that is firs connected to the compressor has a cotton filter. The way you bled it, all the water will go through the second filter wich has molecular sieve/silica gel/activated charcoal Have a happy new year Thanks for sharing

I've had it about a year now and it is still running great
It's still running great. I have this 3600psi and a 4500 that I fill. No hiccups.
Thanks for the review, with a amount of loose, wonky or missing parts, i think ot is safe to say that there is no quality control at all. What a shame for Tuxin!
It's a lot cheaper than others so I knew that it would be more difficult than the more expensive units out there

I am on the fence on the compressor but would love to purchase based on the price point. There seems to be a lot of assembly issues this is what is holding me back. If someone could perform 3rd party full QC of compressor prior to operating, it would solve a lot of issues. But I don't know who would perform this function.
Yes, know that when you pay less, it will be more difficult to use and repair. I feel comfortable with my skills so I took the chance. So far, sa good

So what happened? I bought this with the understanding that I probably wouldn't be able to get any support. I decided that it was worth the try. So far, so good.
@@stevealbritton2232 parts are available, the customer service is unprofessional to say the least. They offered a full refund, I accepted, a week no word. I inquire, to be informed parts are on the way. I had to battle with them to get them to honor thier offer of refund. I did not request a refund, they offered it. I put pressure on them via Amazon and disputed the charge via credit card. Luckily, Amazon keeps a running record of the communications. Then Tuxing customer service said if I give positive review they will give refund. This is a violation of Amazon rules, that in addition to the evidence of the refund offer they finally made good on thier word. During this process I read of other customers who fell victim to the 'promise and delay hope they go away' procedure. Tuxing also did not deliver an HPA bottle ordered via Ebay. Lost in shipping they claimed, a straight forward refund situation. Imhad to battle for that refund also. Hence, there are better places to buy orings

I don't think that surprised me much. When you pay so much less for a product, they save money by skimping on service.

I don't know that I have many answers. I'm just an amateur airgunner that wanted a bigger compressor, so I took a chance on this one. So far so good
I'm sorry this has taken so long. I work long hours and didn't check my channel as much as I should. I think the tank here is larger than a 9L.
Hi my friend How much volume of cylinder?
The cylinder that I filled is a 131CF tank rated to 3442 PSI(230 BAR). I started the fill with a little over 2000PSI and it took around 45-50 minutes to fill to capacity
How many liters is that tank? I’m thinking about same compressor.

So far... I like it. I understand that it's not a $3k compressor and it has been more difficult to setup, but it has worked flawlessly so far. We'll see how it holds up.
@@stevealbritton2232 well it’s the exact same compressor as the Kong compressor as far as I can tell at almost half the price. I hope it serves you well. I’m thinking about making the same purchase.
