Welcome to Wandering Buffalo Adventures. Join us (Kye and Lisa) as we explore some of sites and scenery of the Ozark Mountains. After vacationing here for many years; we decided to "pull up steaks" in Louisiana and make the move to the beautiful Ozark Mountains; near the city of Jasper, Arkansas. Jasper is located perfectly between the 1.2 million acre Ozark-St. Francis National Forest and the 135 mile long Buffalo National River. This area has so much to offer for folks looking to re-connect with nature and unwind from our hectic lives. Thousands of miles of hiking trails, miles and miles of river floating, hundreds of waterfalls, countless mountain scenic vistas, ATV trails, camping spots, abundance of wildlife, historic sites, and so much more. An "old timer" told me that we dont have enough days in one lifetime to see everything the Ozarks have to offer and I'm quickly realizing reality of that.
Ozark Mountain Top Camping

This is our second year learning how to hunt morel mushrooms, since moving to the Ozarks. Every year I learn something new. Eventually, my practice will pay off and I’ll be filling up bag fulls. But as always, I tend to keep the beauty of the Ozarks in the forefront of all my activities. Thanks for watching!!! Buffalo River Trail Hike: Ponca to Kyles Landing

My first, very simple video taking a 11.3 mile hike along the Buffalo Nation River Trail near Jasper, Arkansas. I started at the Ponca low water bridge, went through Steel Creek Park, then onto the final destination at Kyles Landing.
Never camped at Devils Knob. Definitely gonna have to do that some day. Thanks for watching the podcast bro!

Do you have adjustable control arms in the back? wonder if it has rear axle out of place slightly.
@@ArkansasOffroadAdventures-yt They are not adjustable. If this happens again, I’m probably gonna have to get adjustable arms. Or I could maybe not flex my Jeep so much…. Hahaha. I’ll stick to option 1 !!!!

I've yet to camp at this spot for fear of it being interrupted by "people". But it's on my bucket list!
I had three ATVs drive by when I first got there and that was it. Definitely a weekday kind of spot, to increase your odds of not seeing other people.
Looks like a good spot but when it's early spring the morals will first be found on south facing hills we're it stays warmer and as we get later into spring they will start to show up in the lower areas this is because it's to cold in the valleys in the early spring so the trick to mushrooms is the right temps at night and during the day along with humidity.

Nice video. Could you give some details on your fridge setup? I've got a 2019 JL with the rear cargo shelf. I would like to have a slide and a fridge that would fit under my shelf. Thanks in advance and God Bless.
I installed a Set Power RV45S on top of an All Top Fridge Slide. I have everything sitting on a 1/2” plywood base. What I did was measure the available height I had in my JKU and bought the fridge and slide that would fit. Most of those items on Amazon will show the height. I factored in about an inch or so of fudge factor. I was pretty confident that it would fit and it did. My back up plan, if it didn’t fit, would have been to fabricate a spacer at the base of the shelf. Hope this helps and thanks for the question!
