On this night I visit Fremont Street to check out the scene...it's hopping!!!

I'm visiting Frenchman Mountain on this day. Extremely strenuous hike. It's only like 5 miles or something but it felt like 13 miles. Very gravelly and extremely hard on the ankles. I'm lucky I'm fairly dextrous otherwise I probably would have broken something. I'm not doing this hike anytime soon or ever again, it was that hard on me.

I'm in Mexico today! This was Welcome Visitors Day and it was all you can eat tacos and beers. There was also tamales but they ran out and I got there late. There was cultural shows and mariachi bands. The locals were so nice to me they told me about the AYCE tacos, if they didn't tell me I wouldn't have had a clue. The locals are super laid back. Turns out most of them live on the local farms ...

I managed to fix my Dragonfly Cobalt DAC today. The contact for the right channel had become disconnected from the PCB which required soldering. Once soldered to the PCB, I was able to re-establish the right channel connection and the unit now works properly.

Today I made it to the top of Frenchman Mountain. Took me 1 hr 50 min to the top, 1hr 43 min down. Very strenuous hike, very steep and gravelly. I have not seen a view of the valley from this high perspective, wow! Amazing! Lost data in spots along the way which was disappointing, but once you're at the top it's no problem. Don't go on a hot day, the hike is annoying enough with the loose rocks...

My trip to Joshua Tree National Park, California. I visit all kinds of sites in the National Park and do a 1 1/2 mile hike to Arch Rock. I ate at Rib Restaurant which was very good.

This is the Formula 1 Launch Party Nov 2022, in Las Vegas at Caesar's Palace. Stands were packed, standing room only. Lots of fun games for kids and family. A cool night out.
