@@Grizzlyonwheels - So, you're saying it's not possible to ride a motorbike while doing the speed limit? Gone from 'I was doing 30' to 'It's so hard to do 30'. Sounds more like a you problem and either the bike is too much for you, you never learned how to ride properly or you're one of those folks who likes to keep it in the 'power band' so you can avoid trouble (heard that one a few times, slowing down avoids even more trouble). Either way, there's no excuse really. You bomb around the streets because you want to and no doubt you encounter problems the rest of us avoid because you race in to them. Be honest, it has nothing to do with manual transmissions and best not to assume what experience I have.

He accelerated too much towards a potential hazard and when the hazard turned from potential to actual (the pedestrian stepping out) he didn't have sufficient braking distance. So panicked and grabbed a handful of front break resulting in the tire losing traction under the heavy braking and he lost the front end and went down. All of which could have been avoided if he'd just accelerated gently like everyone else did.

The biker locked the back wheel up and went into a skid so they dropped it to avoid it taking the person out

@@alexjenkins9430 You need to watch it again, the front wheel gave out under braking. I mean, it's literally there in the video. 🤣🤣 p.s. I'm a biker, I've locked the back wheel up so I know what it feels and looks like. Much easier to control a bike with the rear locked as you still have steering, but if the front locks up, well, watch the video!

Don’t be foolish, that biker was well in view for any pedestrian to see. Especially as they had a red man light meaning 'do not cross'. Even better, that pillock who jumped out infront of oncoming vehicles didnt even have the courtesy to check if the guy was alright

the Ped crossed the road on a red light, he did not have priority, ped 100% at fault which is why he did a runner.

Jaywalking isn’t a thing in the uk

@@cliftongreen6122 the terminology isn’t the same but he was doing the act of crossing when the pedestrian light was red which is effectively jaywalking.

Which still isn’t illegal in the UK, I understand what it is but Piccadilly Circus is a highly pedestrianised area and there is nothing in law to say you can only cross in line with traffic lights. Accepted that if you do then crossing will be safer but you don’t have to.

No such thing as ‘jaywalking’ in the UK. The UK car industry never had that kind of power.
