Hey RUclips, I’m Dana Hansen, a classically-trained musician from Colorado. I began composing on the piano and pipe organ at age 12. My first album, "Crystal Dove," was released in 1988. Since then, I’ve written for musical productions and product advertising.
Growing up in Colorado, I developed an intense love for the outdoors and it is that passion that drives me to write music that organically connects our thoughts and sympathies to beautiful landscapes, water and vistas that lift and inspire. I recently relocated to LA and live in Pacific Palisades. The beach, surf and endless ocean greet me each day, convincing me that there is an infinite array of beauty to relish in no matter where we live if we but look for it. Set to rhythms and driving percussion, it is my desire to create appreciation for the world around us and derive inspiration from it.

"The Eternal God" - Dana Hansen | 6-Minute Meditation
This meditative piece celebrates the endless and eternal nature of God, whose love extends to all people, all places and at all times. While there is human suffering, it does not diminish His love for each of us as we are asked to love each other in like manner. Lorchin Pulsipher provides the violin part and Laurie Wentzel is the flutist. They join a french horn to create a trio that brings harmony to the piece, symbolic of people living together in peace and cooperation.
