How To Use A Drywall Texture Sprayer | Harbor Freight
I have an idea because im about to make a small ramp for my mothers front porch, I wonder if i can run a string line for my mock up ramp angle and mark my boards based on my string line reading. Anyone ever thought of this?
This slope does not look 1:12
Looks good, and great explanation . One caution, tho. The treads can be a trip hazard if they stick out past the risers.
Thanks I’ll keep that in mind. I will mention that a one inch bullnose is pretty common in most house stairs so I just went with the standards. Have a great day
You don't need tapcons for this application. All you need is a 3 inch deck screw and a sliver of wood hammered into the hole. You can't pry the board out with a burk bar
Nice tip. Thanks
Rise over run baby make stringsrs all day.
Holla!
child's play.
you cannot calculate 26 divided by 4?
I sure did
Might get better results by putting your fingers closer to the blade.
But that doesn’t sound safe. Might cut my finger
Thanks for the help
Deck all n one toner after a amazing power scrub.= Frame work=
Peekaboo
I see You
Looks professional. I have a 30 ft sidewalk I have considered doing that but I'm too afraid lol
The experience was worth it. Even if it turned out terrible at least I can say I tried it once. You can do it
Good pour!
Thank you
Yeah, you should probably hire someone next time, that looks like trash..
It really doesn’t. Your comment is trash. But you knew that when you left it. Gotta have haters. Part of the game
When it breaks, and you replace it , next time put in a steel mesh preferably in 3D/one mesh above another connected by steel rods to make squares 3Dcubes all conected and make it deeper...
Deeper than 4 inches? Ok
@@RentThisFlipThat ,,,14cm minimum...
4 inches is pretty standard around here. Especially minimal foot traffic but I appreciate your opinion
What's the purpose of the line across the middle? At 0.45 in the vid.
So the Cement cracks in that line and not thru out the whole slab. with sidewalks about every 36 Inches. He put one in close to steps but should have done another one closer to the end .
@@shannonpaplow7754 Thanks
@shannonpaplow7754 good to know. I wasn’t sure as I’ve seen driveways with huge sections before the crack. Thanks for the info
no rebar?
None
Nice video, thank you!
Cleaaaaaaaaaaan
Ty
Well done, man
Extremely, kinda, ok.
Ty
Absolutely pretty cool

Good content. Water Wins! Thank you. Stay safe.
Dealing with this exact issue right now. Thankfully its nothing but concrete under my house, no crawl space. but my house about flooded last night because my wood still was completely rotted and coming apart by the second! im hoping its an easy fix ):
Me too. Good luck hope it’s an easy fix
Why remove a perfectly good fence post?
That sucks that you didn't show what needed to be done on the exterior part of the wall i was really hoping that you showed it because im filling in a door myself.
Sorry, they had the own vinyl siding guy. I was responsible for the inside only
Great info! My only comment is sometimes the music made it hard to hear what was being said. Thanks so much for making this video!
The music is awful and super distracting.
Thanks for your content 👍
Had a similar problem. Thought it was the tub drain or the pvc tub drain pipes beneath the tub. It wasn’t. Turns out it was the overflow drain. The over flow drain needs a rubber seal on it. (Amazon , Lowe’s sell them…I bought my from Amazon 3-4 in a pack ..nearly nothing in cost). These overflow drains leak when water from tub or shower gets behind the metal overflow drain. You can’t detect it in action unless you take a pitcher of water and pour directly over/on the overflow drain. I taped a dry paper towel on the outside of the drain through the access door and poured the pitcher of water on the overflow while standing at the tub. Went back to the access door and the paper towel over the overflow on that side was drenched. I went through all that thinking that at first it was the tub drain leaking or the drain pipes… I actually puttied the tub drain and bought new pvc plumbing which it turns out I didn’t need. After the overflow drain was sealed with the rubber seal ring there was no more leaking. The things you learn!
Imagine this.. built all that then realised, wrong house.
Ha ha. Thanks for the comment
That's great! Good work.
Tks for the comment!
All that work and it's a medium size!!! Why do you scorn the postal workers so!
So you think a large size would have been the way to go? A bigger box never crossed my mind! Thanks for the comment!
@@RentThisFlipThat if you order stuff online it helps a ton with delivery to have one of those big ones!
My tub is cast iron. U cut that tub like butter
Why remove a good post
The post needed help! Tks for the comment!
Great video, just bought a house n testing my DIY skills. This is next on my list. Thx! New subscriber
Good Luck! Thanks for being here!
That tub looked good to me😢😂
We do what the customer wants! Tks for the comment!
Gurl Power! 😂💪🏿💃🏿💪🏿
No blocking? Why not run full 20 foot boards? Staggering is ugly.
I actually did craw under later and add blocking, used scraps. And I don't have a way to transport 20 foot material. Or the man power to install it. But thanks for the comment
Are permits required for this type of work ?
I'm not sure I understand the question . . . LoL! Tks for the comment!
Hopper goes over o ring & chrome fittings are automotive , brass is industrial. Gotta match fittings. If your hose is brass then use brass fittings. The handle dial is for handle tension lol. She just seems to learn as she goes. I teach my gf before I hand her the reigns. She's very comprehensive & can do just about anything. Knowledge is power. 12:36
I hate how quickly that thin flashing and top caps twist and wrinkle
Right on
What does the other side look like??
We were not hired to do the outside job but when we were done it was plywood on the outside. Tks for the question!
Some Teco clips would work wonders. 4 x 4 isn't really suitable for the beam either.
Thanks for the tips!
That bend is a sewer trap. Makes sure that sewer gases are blocked. Bend creates a cavity for water to sit and block gases from coming up.
Thanks for the comment!
Too cheap of a DIYer.
Tks for the comment but if you would explain what you are talking about that would be helpful!
@@RentThisFlipThat Just meant the person before did not want to do it correctly.
I see! Tks for the comment!
The problem with all these videos is if they show you how to remove a perfectly good post how often are you removing perfectly good posts it's the one to wrote it off at ground level that are the challenge
We did have at least one that was broken off . . . I am pretty sure we just moved where we dug the holes & left it in the ground! Thanks for the comment!
Grest job!! And you are so funny with the way you handle mishaps!!
Tks for the comment!
Thanks, I currently doing that same thing. Thanks for sharing.
No problem! Good luck with your project. Thanks for the comment
that’s wifey right there! And she has Stunna shade on
tks! alllll my shades are stunna! LoL
You talk way to fast.
LoL . . . sometimes! Thanks for the comment!
Then slow down the video.
I loved the education but had trouble hearing over the background music
Tks for the feedback!
Wouldn’t be better to sink the posts in the ground for the hot tub?
It could be! Thanks for the comment!
