In this video, I'm making the Legendary Cheeseburger from Nowon, a Korean-American restaurant in NYC. In a video by Bon Appetit they do a behind the scenes look of how they make their Legendary Cheeseburgers. Throughout the video they repeatedly mention that you can't make this Burger at Home. I decided to take that as a challenge and so I made it at home, and you can too. Here are Links to the...

Gayo pinto!!!! Also u can use black beans my fam is form Nicaragua and we use black beans😊
That's good to know! You probably noticed, but I am not Nicaraguan, so most of what I know about gallo pinto is from online, and from eating it at my friend's house. 😊
recommend using non-metal in non-stick pans -- love the high protein version
Yes, that's right! On Hexclad's website they do mention that their pans are compatible with metal utensils, however I have recently noticed a few small scratches, likely due to metal utensils.
Sound is great after the switch! :)
Thanks!
Cook it with half water and cows milk.
Nice cooking
Thank you so much
@QuinnBrown15 same to you
Very good! Great presentation!
Glad you liked it!
Great video!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
great recipe but doesn't starting with Chili oil in high heat burn your chili flakes?
I’m subscribing to your channel only 15 seconds into this video (first of yours I’ve ever seen) because I already like your style and attitude. Keep it up 👍
Thank you! I'm glad you found my channel! I don't post as often as I'd like, but I'm working on becoming more consistent this year!
Great topic and vid -- voice sounds muffled, making it difficult to follow -- but you're on the right path! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more high-protein versions.
Thanks for the critique and encouragemen! I actually got a new mic recently, and so the voice changed about the 3:40 mark, the difference between the two is huge.
That's great video editing. Well done!
Thank you! It takes a while and it's definitely not one of my strongest skills, but I'm trying to get better with each video!
Just subscribed and watching all ur shorts ur channel is about to blow up I can feel it
Thank you, and I hope you're right!
That looks sooo good 🤤
Thanks!
We love a man who goes to church
There's no where I'd rather be than with with my God, in his house, with his family.
I recently found your channel, and I must say I love it already. Wish you would have more subscribers to see how amazing you are as a person and at cooking. Wish you all the best and keep going❤
Thank you! It's comments like these that keep me going! I hope that you enjoy my content, and we both learn a thing or two along the way! 😁
Make a long black / americano / French press / filter coffee with milk, and pour into a bowl. Add your cereal and enjoy.
YAYAYAY
Sorry it took so long!
Recipy?
Are you asking for a recipe for bread with jam. Be so fucking fr.
Do France also hi Quinn
This is my breakfast? 😌
Love your open mind when it comes to food And great quality videos Keep it up 👍🏼
My dogs are from Georgia. I have to admit, not a fan of sheep, but OMG food so good, I didnt want to leave.
oh my gosh it looks awesome!! my dad is from georgia and i have a lot of memories of making (more americanized) khatchapuri as a kid haha its one of my favorite dishes!
That's so cool! I have to admit I don't know much about Georgian cuisine, but what I do know is pretty delicious! Do you have any other favorite dishes I could be on the lookout for?
I LOVE BREAKFAST!
Me too! And I've had so much fun exploring the way other cultures start their day!
Great work man! There are actually quite a lot of regional variations of khachapuri. This one is Adjarian style or Adjaruli. You may look into them if you're interested
Yeah, I didn't know that until I was researching it! But I'm excited to try the others now! Do you have a favorite?
SUBSCRIBED!!!!
Thanks!
it is supposed to be eated the other way: not chopped, you tear of a piece from the dough part and dip in the cheesy/egg part (firstly you tear of a dough from the sharp edges of the 'boat') anyway your khachapuri is looking very tasty :)
I didn't know that, I'll have to do that next time!
You have the strangest cadence. Bread looks great
Do india dude!
I'll make that next up on my list! Do you have any recommendations? I was thinking Dosas, but I know India is a very large and diverse country, so I'm sure there's lots of popular breakfast dishes.
@QuinnBrown15 Masala Dosa with sambar and Chutney added with some crispy vada with a good filter coffee would be great..!
looks yummy, include your recipes from now on! :)
Thank you! Some of my recipes are on my blog (qbcooks.com), but I can try new dishes a lot faster than I can design recipes, so I don't have a personal recipe for every dish I try!
What cheeses are traditional in Georgia?
The traditional cheeses are imeruli and sulguni but they're very hard to come by in the U.S.
сулугуни пизже всего в хачапури залезает
The platanito chips be fire af too , cook it however you like it tbr , but fried cheese for me is the best companion
Haha my favorite .. add a lil ketchup idk makes the can beans 🫘 taste more like back in Nicaragua
I've never heard of that, I'll have to try it. But I eat Japanese ketchup fried rice all the time, so I'm sure I'd like it!
Delicious! 🌶🧄
Thank you very much for preparing this delicious dish. As Nicaraguan I feel proud. You can modify the recipe by frying the beans with oil and their soup (Beans' soup) and of course onion. Once they're fried, add the rice and mix them very well. (Using onion, garlic and species are really optionally)
If my food gets the approval from someone who grew up eating that type of food, it's always the highest compliment in my eyes. Thank you so much.
Fire cuzzo!
Thanks!
Omg, dude, that's not Nicaraguan, it's Costa Rica😂😂😂, I get it, we're close but it's not the same
And it's not with chips, actually you can make the at home, just as a recommendation, they taste better
Both Nicaragua and Costa Rica have their own variation, I mentioned this in the full video, but I forgot to talk about it in the short!
Keep up you'll hit your goal on day, these looks amazing and the quality is chef's kiss
Thank you so much; the encouragement is much appreciated!
Dont tell my family but as a costa rican ive always preferred the nicaraguan versions of dishes. gallo pinto is really good with cuajada, caribbean/panameño chili and poached egg. I also adooooore and recommend the costa rican caribbean version, rice and beans which is jamaican influenced with chicken stew and coconut oil 🤤
I'd never heard of the Costa Rican Caribbean version, but that sounds delicious! I'll have to make it sometime!
yasss
Does the name of the dish only refer to the rice and beans? Otherwise the term plant based might confuse some people because of the egg. Great recipe though, thank you!
Yeah, I was mostly referring to the base dish itself, since the egg is more of an add on. I can see how much that would be confusing. Thanks for letting me know!
@@QuinnBrown15 Thanks for answering, much appreciated!
Wow yummy yummy recipe 150 subscribe new connect 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That looks really good! Is there a written recipe?
Yes, I just posted the recipe on my blog! 👉qbcooks.com/gallo-pinto/
Wow looking so tasty my dear friend
Thank you!
This is a very high quality video considering you aren’t insanely popular (yet), wishing the best for you my man
Thank you so much, I'm always learning and trying to put out the best content I can. The positive words mean a lot to me, and I really appreciate the encouragement!

First goes the cereal then goes the milk… unless you’re a monster and do it the other way 😂
Do jamaica
