Down 30 pounds in a month and NOW I'm kicking it into high gear!!
Nice suggestion. I'll definitely try aa i get lots of cramps when fasting
You don’t have 10 minutes to use a cast iron?
Yooooo wtf???
fresh ground hamburger smells like butter
Ya know, it kinda does. That's weird
How many degrees ?
I think 400
4th day of 5
Your hamburger to butter process will contaminate your butter?
Nah!! It's like I'm putting butter on ice. The patties were totally frozen
This video was exactly what I was looking for. My burgers always end up dry in the air fryer. Hoping the butter does the trick. Thanks 🙏🏾
after burgers are done just put a pat of butter right on the top. it'll melt into the burger and create a taste of heaven
@sparkplugpeggy4910 I will give this a try
You cross contaminated the butter
Nah!! It's like putting butter on ice
Looks good. Ill have to try one.
Nice
Thanks!!
Damm bruh thank's for giving us a break down on whats going on but what i did hear is u dont no how to grill nd probally dont no how 2 cook either......lol im sorry its all love
You know you can just buy the patties, right? Just ask!
@@grahameewins I've been to all the McDonald's around here, I know which employees and locations refuse to sell just the meat. I've argued with managers at the one closest to my house. So sometimes it's just easier to do it this way.
You can have fried chicken just use pork rinds instead of flour 😊
@@Arcticpagan oh, I've definitely done that. Unfortunately the chicken I referenced in this video was from a restaurant. So I'm surprised it didn't mess my stomach up. Stuff like that usually does a number on me digestively speaking.
@wearecarnivores ah yeah hard to tell the restaurants to make them special like that 😅 my stomach sucks dck I can't have anything my stomach wanna kill me right now for cheating Thursday 😅
@@Arcticpagan i feel ya
Your telling me for 40 year's.......
@@adammonahan687 ha!!
So, you got the patties and left the buns and condiments for the seagulls?
@@TonyTruth-s9z 2 things....I live in North Mississippi, ain't no seagulls around here. And no, I just order the patties.
Carnivore diet can be as expensive or cheap as you want it to be.
@@Lonewolf_1776 Absolutely!! Buying a cow from a local farm was the best decision I ever made. This series of videos is kinda geared towards people that are driving around trying to do carnivore.
You can make those before you leave and pay $8
@@rickier8291 I bought a ½ a cow so I've been eating my own at home for several months now. I was just out and hungry so I thought I'd do McDonald's today. Only in emergencies next time. 6 months ago when they were $1.69, that was a heck of a deal. Not anymore.
Idk but mine are too
Have you tried team sports? Like hocky, soccer or volley ball? Or maybe something that's physically active but not a gym activity, like rock climbing or swimming. You mentioned marathons, do you like being outside? In that case maybe activities like bike riding or hiking would be more your speed.
I posted this on my Facebook page and somebody else said this. It's a great compromise for sure. I LOVE being outside, so I'll definitely try to just add a buncha that stuff. Thanks so much!!
@@wearecarnivores You might want to look into "Green Exercise," or "The Woods man's workouts." These are exercise routines that are primarily outdoors, and rather than using exercise equipment in the gym, focuses on utilizing resources like fallen logs and boulders, to do your exercises and produce more natural movements. Some even encourage tree climbing and/or wood splitting. If you happen to be near a large body of water like a clean lake, river or ocean, things like paddle boarding and kayaking, might also be an avenue worth exploring. I hope this helps and is a lot more fun for you
How are you doing now? I haven't seen any recent videos.
@@kitdriscoll1288 I've really fallen off with the RUclips videos. I'm doing is mostly on TikTok now. But the diet is still going good. I spent 2 weeks in Europe and didn't diet AT ALL, so I gained a little weight there, now I'm doing a version of "dirty carnivore" that I'm really happy with. I'll try to get back to posting on here. I've got videos and ideas, I just gotta find the time to do them!!
What kind of sausage do you get
YESSSSSS! I LOVE YOUR VIBE!
haha!! Thanks!!
@@wearecarnivores of course!
How did you do fast. I'm doing my first one now.
Ain’t no shame in the game buddy, no need to even explain💪🏼
You've gotta be the first person ever on the internet that understands that different people do things different ways. Haha!! Thanks so much!!
Wagyu like that ....i dont think its actual wagyu
Agree you cannot buy Wagyu for six bucks a pound.
That's possible. But it's delicious!!
Hahaha, you think that ground beef is actually wagyu, you know the just use normal beef and add fat trimmings to make the fat content look right aye?? Waygu is only measued by its fat content, not by its source beast
I don't know. I just know it's delicious and it says wagyu on the package. Is shrimp not actually shrimp now? And crackers aren't actually crackers? What about paper towels? Are they really paper towels or did somebody just write that on the label to sell it to idiots like me?
@@wearecarnivores it's just how they manipulate a market, I don't know about paper towels and shrimp, lol. But yeah it's a simple case of making sure the meat matches the standards, could really be made of any part of the beast.
I love you 🧢
Aww, I love you too!! Thanks!!
I love Wagyu, get mine at Costco in bulk of course 😊❤. No seasoning?Maybe I'll earn a buck or 2 for ad 🤔
I got this at Sam's and they're hit or miss with it...they don't normally have it so I get a good bit when it's in stock
Heart disease if you eat these regularly
Says who?
Expensive stuff
Not too bad actually. $5.88/pound. Cheaper than any steak but obviously more expensive that regular ground beef.
You made balls of meat, not meatballs
I guess I can't argue with that!!
@@wearecarnivores What is wagyu? Japanese meat ?
@@edwinallan2071 I'm not real sure. I think it's just got more fat than regular ground beef. However it's labeled, it doesn't really matter to me, this ground beef is delicious!!
No seasoning?
I didn't put any seasoning on them when I cooked them. I sprinkle a little salt on them when I heat them up for snacks.
no seasoning not even salt or pepper is crazy
Sometimes I'll do salt, not usually pepper. But my taste buds don't require much flavor to be satisfied
Love the energy 💪💪
haha!!
That looks nasty man. Just sear them in a cast iron or a grill give it some real flavor. To each their own though
protein
It's delicious!! The point of the air fryer is that I don't have to stand over the stove. I can put it in there and go get some work done for 8 minutes, then flip them. I'm not big into flavor anyway so the ease of the air fryer waaaaay outweighs the boredom of cooking on a stove
"Skah hah"
Haha
Love the accent! Sorry for poking fun and way to go on the bloodwork! 💪
@@gabedaloisio2437 I take pride in that southern accent!! Haha!!
If you're going to eat something with sugar in it why not eat something genuinely delicious? Eating some packaged cookies, I apologize but that seems kind of sad to me. Make a batch of phenomenal cookies. Find a recipe, use great chocolate, then make the cookie dough into balls and freeze them. When you want a cheat treat take a couple out and bake them. You'll have fresh, delicious chocolate chunk cookies with several different kinds of hand chopped chocolate for example and you'll enjoy it. And there won't be pro-inflammatory oils in it and preservatives and all the rest of the garbage that is in processed packaged food. If your blood work is good and you want to have a cheat day, make it a good one. If you've never had really great cookies then find some good recipes and try them out. When I want to have something with sugar in it I won't buy something that's packaged to not go bad for months because of the preservatives and other garbage in it. That doesn't even taste good. It just tastes like sugar. If you're going to eat something unhealthy, why double down and eat something processed? I'm sure you can make something delicious or get something from someone who has made it for you. Make a delicious apple crumble and serve it with real ice cream, without additives or crap in it. If you don't like apples, make some delicious brownies if you love chocolate. There are so many delicious foods that you can make and eat. It doesn't make sense to me to enjoy a cheat day by eating packaged processed food that isn't even food. Then you get the carbohydrates and the load of pro-inflammatory oils, the additives, preservatives, the emulsifiers and all the other poisonous crap that is put in processed food. That's not a cheat day, that's a self-damaging day. Enjoy your sugar if you want some but have it in something that is otherwise food.
If it doesn't make sense to you, this isn't gonna help, but....those cookies I showed in the video are literally the best cookies I've ever tasted. What makes you think they're not delicious? They're the most delicious cookie I've ever had. And I can't cook. I've never cooked. I mean, I'm on the carnivore diet and I cook ribeyes in an air fryer!! So, finding a recipe and cooking something delicious is not gonna happen. I mean, I could learn. But I'm 47 years old, have 3 jobs and 3 kids that play multiple sports and do all kinds of stuff. I ain't about to spend years learning how to cook so I can have a delicious cookie on my cheat day. So, again if it doesn't make sense to you, that's fine, but it makes perfect sense to me
@wearecarnivores How do I say this without coming across as condescending? I realized that my comment probably came across that way and I'm sorry, that wasn't the intent. If those are the best cookies you've ever had then you have so much to look forward to. That's a good thing. I could share a couple of very easy recipes that you or your wife or a relative could make. It doesn't take a lot of time to make something delicious. And it's worth it because when you do want to have something with sugar in it you aren't also eating the pro-inflammatory hydrogenated oils, the preservatives, the emulsifiers that strip our gut lining and all the rest of the harmful additives that are put in processed food. When you want to eat something that isn't carnivore you accept the fact that you're not going to be in ketosis and that it will take a day or two to get back into it and that's fine. But what you are also getting with processed stuff like those cookies is a lot of ingredients that are unhealthy beyond the fact that there is sugar in them. About cooking, I taught myself. I am completely self-taught. And I held three jobs while going to college. I know it's hard work. I frequently went hungry in those days. I get hard work. Anyone can learn to cook. It is good to have cooking skills because it frees us to be able to make good food that is also healthy. I'm not saying it should be your top priority but I believe it is very important. We get sick from processed food not only because of the sugar but also because of the other ingredients. Your taste in food will change. If you don't eat processed foods you'll reach a point where when you try to eat something like that it won't taste right. You'll pick up on the additives and it just won't taste right to you. That's a good thing. Do you want me to share a couple of easy recipes? The chocolate chunk cookies are not difficult to make and you can make a batch, roll them into balls and then freeze them. Take two or three out and bake them so that you don't have to eat a dozen cookies at once. It doesn't take years to learn to make a few good things. And there is pride in mastering a new skill. Being able to spend 20 minutes in the kitchen and ending up with something that is delicious and also not unhealthy is a wonderful thing and it is good to model that for our children. Unrelated to sugar, every person eating carnivore talks about rib eye steak. It's the gold standard for carnivore, everyone eats ribeye, personally I like ribeye but I love tri-tip. It's also cheaper and good tri-tip has a lot of fat on it too. I will cut it into thick steaks and salt it on all sides with coarse salt and leave it in the fridge open to the air for day or two. It gets a really good sear when you do that. You have to make sure it's on a rack though so that air circulates all around. I love delicious food. I love to cook. I like to bake still for people who can eat carbohydrates. An apple crumble is the simplest thing, without exaggeration it might take a total of 15 minutes and then about an hour in the oven. Buttery, cinnamony and sweet, the apples are soft and the crumble is ever so slightly crunchy if you want it that way. If you like apples or apple pie an apple crumble is heaven in a bowl. It is something like seven ingredients, it is very easy to make and once you have it you'll never want to eat a processed apple product. I want people to eat real food. Sometimes we want something that isn't carnivore. When that happens we shouldn't hit ourselves with a double whammy; the sugar is one thing but the unhealthy hydrogenated oils and emulsifiers and preservatives and all the other ingredients that are put into processed food that do us real harm. That's what I was trying to convey. I can share the recipes for apple crisp or for the chocolate chunk cookies, either or both if you wish. I apologize for the typos, I wrote this on my phone.
@@Kyarrix Before I get too far into my reply I wanna start by saying I'm not a fan of chocolate chip cookies or apples. Having said that, I'm 47 years old, and for 46 years I basically ate snacks for food. I've had all kinds of cookies. . .homemade, gourmet, southern momma, grandma's, big store, big brand, all kinds. . .The cookies I mentioned in this video are literally the best tasting cookie I've ever had. And I've only been doing carnivore for 8 months so I may not be as dedicated as I need to be, but when I ate those cookies, it made me happy. Literally. So maybe that's the problem. And if it is, I'm fine with that. I've been eating crap for 46 years, it's hard to break a 46-year habit in a few months. I get that. Learning a good cookie recipe and freezing the batter is a great idea, but if I do one, I just want it to be a plain sugar cookie. Probably whatever recipe you have for the chocolate chunk cookie would do me just fine, I'll just leave out the chocolate. I don't dislike chocolate, but chocolate ruins a cookie for me. Regarding ribeyes. . .I've started moving more towards sirloins. I know they've got waaaaay less fat, but if I cook a sirloin right, it tastes better to me. So going further into my carnivore journey, I may have to find a fat source, but as of right now, I'm eating mostly hamburger patties, so I think I'm good on the fat there. My ex-wife is a baker so if you send me that recipe (junoavent@gmail.com) I'll just get her to make them for me. But if you have a sugar cookie recipe, send that one. Thanks so much for the advice and info!!
Always read your grocery recipes before you leave the store. If you read overcharges, go to the customer service counter ask for a Manger and demand a refund for the difference. Always take a hand held calculator with you. That is what I do because I do not trust the checkers or the registers for accuracy.
Definitely will next time!!
There is a reason kroger managers drive corvettes.
Hahaha!!
This is the second video I've watched where people say they are getting ripped off. I've had stuff ring up wrong, and I've complained. If they say they can't change it, I tell them "I don't want it". Its that easy. You have to pay attention, and don't trust anyone. Its sad that you have to be that way, but its a hard world.
There's a little more to our story than what I put in this video. I normally wouldn't be okay with stuff like that and will definitely not let it happen again.
IF YOU CALL KROGER THEY WILL MAKE IT RIGHT
I threw the receipt away, but a few people have told me that they'll fix it if they mess up so I'll know that for next time. Thanks!!
I love how the carnivore diet makes your life so simple as far as shopping for food and cooking food. Great video.
Thanks so much!!
I always look to see if it's posted in the store, if it is, they'll give it to you at that price.
Now I know
Scam
For real
My local Wal-Mart is always trying to pull a quick one on me. However, I have very little problem with my Kroger. Usually, it's a checker mistake and not a scan price difference mistake.
This is the first time I've had this happen at Kroger
We don't have Kroger(s) down here. We have Winn/Dixie and Rouse's.
Yeah, we used to always go to Winn-Dixie when Gabby used to play down in them parts.
I really have no idea what this video was about... Was it about you not checking on how stuff rings up at the store? Was it about you not able to taste the difference between bison and beef? Was it about you saying you are so tired you won't cook anything anymore? Please, let me know.
I didn't know I had follow your rules when making MY RUclips videos. But I do appreciate the comment. I must've done something right. And to answer your questions...Yes
@@wearecarnivoresNever follow anyone's rules. Just keep going. My comments are my comments.
I always check what's ringing up
I usually do too but this was self checkout, hungry, wanting real food after eating hamburger patties for 7 straight days...we saw it ring up wrong, we just didn't have the time and energy to deal with it.
They are all doing that…put up one price and charge another!!
This is the first time this has happened to me but I'll definitely be a little more mindful next time.
