if they run off on torrent use that spikey hand thing that shoots spikes (its a DLC weapon) that will de-torrent them while they are running away and as a result they will fall off torrent and be dead able to kill. they do high latency on purpose. I prefer arcane to faith. Arcane gives me dragon communion spells and bleed buildup, which is all I want from it. Offensive faith spells are underwhelming and I'd rather have a bleed weapon than a faith weapon.
