Country Sunday and the Traditional Meal in Pinyin. By, Honorable Tasi Ntang Lucas, NWR of Camerron
The rising popularity of the term 'Country Sunday' in southern Cameroon presents an opportunity for the education of the people on what it means and how it is observed. In this discussion, a review of what country Sunday is to the people of Pinyin sets the premise for a review of Pinyin geography, Pinyin history, Pinyin customs and traditions and an insight into Pinyin life. This message is a master class on tradition for all sons and daughters of the people of 'Nyin' (Pinyin), the people of Southern Cameroon and Africa as a whole.

One way to show that Africa had a system of education prior to colonization and slavery would be to consider its use of the Rite of Passage ceremonies. A rite of passage constitutes a point in time when a community observes a transition of an individual from one state of life unto another. It gives occasion for instruction, counseling and guidance. In Africa, it is a community affair, never a p...

How can I order a copy?
The text is no longer on the market but the author has them. Hopefully someone can reach out to facilitate sales. We found a copy after a rather long search.
Sounds very biblical.. Wonder if country Sunday origins is the biblical Sabbath.
I dont really appreciate Africans. But this is how a man lives happily and die happily. The pride of a teacher. "Songs are the strongest language of communication , birds sing" Can I get an e-version of the book"
I don't believe there is one. It wasn't easy locating a hard copy for this production. In the end, someone helped me get in touch with the author and he sent a few copies to me.
I am Asian, but he is my mentor. This book give me nostalgia

Always so enriching listening to Hon. Tasi Ntang. History, Geography, sociology, culture and much more in one package!
Beautiful. I really enjoyed this session. You're doing an amazing job not only chronicling historical facts but also eternalising our culture. This is a great education and what should be in the curriculum and thought in all the classrooms in Cameroon and our cultural groups. WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOU ARE LOST IN THIS WORLD. Thanks for being conscious and playing such an important part in this journey to help us rediscover who we are. Thanks too to Pa Tasi Ntang for sharing his depth of wisdom and knowledge with such clarity. Much appreciated. Well done, my sister. 🙏🏾
Additionally my great grand ma used to make a sauce using coco leaves with green equsi and adding dried tadpoles to make a delicious sauce for achuh not forgetting hot pepper.
I remember that my great grand mother used dried tadpole as a delicacy in the yellow soup.
We also use mbang with green bananas to pound the fufu.
❤. Very rich and informative

African ways of dressing stands out uniquely from hair to toe. It’s a piece of art bestowed to us by God. From my community, feathers alone are used for powerful decorations. Thanks very much for encouraging the African cultural revolution.
I don’t know about the berbers being descendants of Arabs 👀 I just know about them being their before the Arabs and now are mixed with Arabs. I think u got something wrong their 🙈
Berbers certainly precede Arabs but do not prefer the Berber appellation for the most part
@@africansummon1355 that’s true but in ur video it sounded like they are the descendants of Arabs which not correct
The Berbers or Amazigh people are not descendants of Arabs as they have inhabited north Africa for thousands years before Arabs arrived there in 6-7th century AD.
Loaded with a lot to share to the world as women throttle around. Since some of them are not easy to tie women should make efforts to provide ready made head gears. Kudos!
Great video. Very informative
Our culture ( Africa) was Rich in The days of our forefathers. We needs to revamp it my dear Big Sister.
African-Headdress could also be a distinction or sign of respect ,reward and award. Examples include the porcupine quills or spines or cardinal red feather
Thanks, Manoh, for this awareness of the African Hairdress. I've learned a lot. More grease to your elbows.
Hello Derick, Thanks for your contribution. This aspect was however not covered under this category because they are not meant to constitute 'head dressing' in the true sense of reference. Like you mentioned, they would fall under a category which could be more aptly referred to as African symbols of honor and recognition. Like medals a person may win at the Olympics or receive from a government official, when worn, the items you mentioned should not be called head dressing, rather they should be seen as marks of honor and the bearer held in that regard. They equally take forms that do not situate them on the head of the bearer so we propose that they should not be classified as such. This should be a topic we should cover at some point. Thank you for mentioning.
Aboh/Ukwuani/Ndoni are the same people with one Language, Mbenenio
Black history month belongs in Africa,, frankly we don't care
Very well don
Actually our ancestral lineage is shaped by our dances, rituals and traditions performed by the living to praise the dead. Different religions and cultures are portrayed by different masks and customs. A very beautiful topic . Keep up
Thank you! This reading was great I really needed this for my class today. ❤
This is the ultimate reward for the hard work we put into this. Glad to know that it is of use to our people. Thank you!
