Since I don't go to nearby cities in the USA the last fight I saw was right outside of my APA hotel (near Hotel Gracery / Toho cinemas) 5 or so years ago. Between two drunk Japanese in suits (with their corresponding groups standing there). The one guy was picked up and slammed into the ground and knocked unconscious, every tourist immediately stopped and started looking around for a cop...none to be found for some reason despite them being everywhere outside of Kabukicho. The "victor" and group left after shouting more stuff at the unconscious guy. Then the other group started dragging their friend away to most people's shocked expressions, maybe 20 seconds into it he at least gained consciousness but was still looked heavily out of it and was not on his feet. Certainly a place, not much of an issue with touts though as I will say "No thanks" while looking at them while continuing to walk, then look wherever I am going and never acknowledge again. Almost everyone gives up at that point, only had one woman even try for a bit afterwards.

PM Ishiba is a dark entity. Joe Biden in Japanese clothes. We need a young strong leader in Japan. this guy is a sukebe Japanese man who will sell out the country to the WEF. I hope Trump comes down hard on him. What a SIMP leader just like Justin Turdo in Canada.

During ancient time if you want to survive as kingdom you must unified people or you will consistent have ethnicity and religion divided and civil war on you hand, Different ethnicity and religion cost many modern nation in middle east and africa sink in civil war even with hundred million of dollar donate from the west will not solve it, If minority want to live equally with majority is ok by me, Thailand my country for example the muslim minority consistent demand more privilege than majority is serious problem plus terrorist alone with it.

I've read reports saying that some of the elderly commit shoplifting to be convicted because they get a sense of community in jail or community service that they do not have because their adult children are too busy. Myself growing up in Japan, understand that we're not supposed to be a burden upon others and because of this the elderly find that one of the ways that they can find a sense of community is to go to jail. I wonder why in Japan, they aren't creating senior centers where the seniors can gather together and have a sense of community and support each other.

Ancient koreans calling ainu non japanese is hilarious The wa people are litterally mainlanders😂 You lived here longer than me so youre weird😂 Racism has no logic So treating it with any sort of dignity is a clear sign of lack of intellegence Or a sign of manipulation You cant be intellegent and be racist Cause racism is in itself a very basic way of thinking Just like we can make green apples sweet and red apples sour Light reflection has nothing to do with character So how does a different light reflection supposedly change you as a person That is litterally racism Thinking the reflection of light is somehow connected to human character😂

Growing up in Japan, I remember respecting elders, but some of these behaviors harken back to the Tokugawa era and remnants of the danka seido. Where the government enforced mandatory participation in the local temples and shrines. Is it a wonder that so many young people are leaving these towns because they are tired of the oppressive hierarchy? Were those of the non-profit want to steal a successful restaurant in profiting themselves?

please tell us the name of the region so I do not buy there and move there, and put all my money into the local economy...No wonder the rural areas are loosing people to the city..who want mafia style tactics standing over you and your family..so bullies at school become bullies in senior life..How screwed up it that..I live remote / rural and I can tell you in such places one goes mad after years of living this way...I also now live in rural Thailand as a westerner in a small village..sure local people are weary of me, but after time, they can see by my actions in the community, and not forced on me..The young man was helping by brining money into the community and working there to bring in more money..yes some for himself, but he has a family to feed..I would dump mu garbage on the leader land if he stopped me using the garbage centre..The young people pay taxs.. the leader should be sacked and made to leave the region

I just listened to a Japanese language news story based on the 7 Rules from Ikeda town which was broadcast in early 2023. About half of the panel members thought the so-called “rules” were a bit out of line. One panel member said does Ikeda town really want people to move there?? Of course, he was half joking. A member of the Ikeda town council who had moved to Ikeda 14 years before also said he thought the wording of some of the rules was too strong. One of the guests was the head of an NGO that encourages city people to move to the countryside. He said that many towns and villages have made similar announcements … similar “rules” …. like the Ikeda Rules. And that many are similar in content. One list of 7 rules from another village had as its 1st “rule”: *You have to pay with cash.* The meaning was that the town did NOT have any shops that used digital money or even credit cards. Personally, I have lived in Japan for almost 60 years and all of that time in an urban area. But I can certainly understand where the Ikeda mindset is coming from. Even in the urban area where I do live, stress is placed on taking part in local activities like the summer festival/matsuri/祭り. We ALL have to take turns working in our local Jichikai/自治会/local association for ONE YEAR. I have been an area chief/shibucho/支部長 twice. That includes monthly meetings lasting several hours attended by our 40 members, the summer festival work which included setting up the festival and then cleaning up after it, local work within my section/shibu/支部 on a weekly/daily basis. I can only assume that country areas with a lower population would need more manpower to fulfill all of their traditional activities/festivals etc. I had to supervise garbage areas when there were disagreements about how the trash was being thrown away. And there are always upsets, complaints, fights, more complaints regarding trash. And pet deposits and the lack of clean-up after…. I am sure Ikeda and other villages have much more public volunteer activities like grass removal, local volunteer firefighter brigades, elder care, snow removal, etc etc. as well as the so-called “fun” activities like the festival and so on. And all of these tradition based volunteer activities were created years ago, decades ago, eons ago as a way to help the village to be more cohesive and to work together. To solve problems that were not the responsibility of just one person or just one family. No one knows who started these traditions but they *will* be fulfilled by each group year by year. *Thus the village has a history that all can be proud of.*
