Thank you for joining!
Yay for quality time with friends 🎀
Quality time with friends hit different!
Wishing you both a joyful, healthy holiday season and a great year ahead! 🎅🏼🎄☃
Happy holidays to you, too!
@@heyTRVLwithME Thank you!
That coffee shop looks so cute! We recently had a Boiling Crab open down here a few years ago but haven't had a chance to check it out yet. But we do have similar places such as Kickin' Kajun which is really good but curious to try Boiling Crab as well.
We hear great things about Kickin' Kajun. If you get to try Boiling Crab, you guys can do a Seafood Boil Showdown in Oahu! It will be similar to your poke comparison.
@@heyTRVLwithME haha, that sounds like a great idea! Thanks~
Didn't see the pandas?
They weren't there when we visited and we were so bummed about it.
Yay! 🎉❤
Finally! Been waiting for this video to drop.
Thanks for the patience! We hope you enjoyed it.
Eunmi's laugh at the beginning! 🤣
haha can't get enough of it!
I just thought of your channel about an hour ago, thinking I haven't seen a new video of yours being posted in awhile and how nice it would be to see a new one. And then notification of this video pops up as you upload it. Talk about "ask and you shall receive." Thanks for brightening my day with your travel adventure to beautiful San Diego Zoo. I'm glad you were able to experience it with your good friends.👍🙂
Thank you for enjoying our vlog! We hope you have an even brighter day today!
@@heyTRVLwithME Thank you. Enjoy your day!
One more question ( for now ) 😂 what time of the year did you guys go? When I called the SR two weeks ago they said January and February were the rainiest months but up to early December is usually good except for an occasional shower.
Hi! Please don't worry about asking too many questions about Bora Bora - we can talk for days!! We went during the drier season (June and July) and still experienced occasional brief rain. Note that I say "drier" season rather than "dry" season because there is occasional rain even during these months. December may have more instances of rain than the drier season months but not as much as Jan/Feb. Also from what I researched for our trip there and also speaking with the locals, it doesn't rain constantly all day, except in unfortunate low chance of a major storm. We went in June/July because of work schedule and it just happened to coincide with drier season. If we are given the chance to go again, we would look into the option of going in Nov/Dec because of less crowd and lower cost.
@@heyTRVLwithME When I called a couple weeks ago they were so friendly and answered every question I had and we talked awhile lol. We’re taking 6 counting us so we have to get 2 rooms because they only allow 3 per room at SR. But it should get us enough points through Marriott to go back just me and my wife one day. We wanted to stay at four seasons a couple nights because the food looks more our style from your videos but we would gain more points staying at SR. We’re planning 4 nights for our family in 2 huts 🛖 then me and my wife for 3 nights alone after our kids leave and their spouse and gf leave lol. SR food from the videos look too fancy lol well probably just the jean George’s restaurant. Thoughts on eating at resort or mainland? Thanks again
People of Tahiti are very friendly and the staff are extremely accommodating. Four Seasons is great but you'll have an unregretful and amazing time at St Regis, too. The food at St Regis Jean George's were too fancy for us, too, and we had no desire to try it again. We liked our dining experience more at the Asian fusion restaurant, the Italian, and the Polynesian Show Buffet on Wednesday night. The open-air lunch restaurant by the beach/pool serves dinner but note that the menu is the same as lunch. The only personal experience we have with the mainland food is St James, which is a highly rated. However, we had dinner there as part of a Sunset cruise package and was disappointed. I believe the food included in the Sunset cruise package is pre-fixe not with their greatest quality and preparation. Their regular menu might be much better. I did learn from the locals to avoid Bloody Mary. It was great 10-15 years ago but it's not very good now and is more of a tourist trap (you're more than welcome to try should you wish to). Folks suggested Bora Bora Beach Club and Bora Bora Yacht Club for the mainland food. St Regis should have daily ferries to the mainland at designated times, which was complimentary in 2022 (unsure about now). The staff should be able to get you setup with the ferry, taxi on the mainland, and the restaurant reservation (if needed).
@@heyTRVLwithME Again I appreciate all the info !! We definitely want to try the private tour from your video with the guy that sings the bora bora song!!! He seems great ! But can you book him or is that four seasons only ? And my wife wants to do the atv tour up the mountain. Yes I have way too many questions 😂 but we’re excited
It's a spectacular trip so it's only fair to have many questions - no worries! The private tour with Lagoon Services is awesome and we're so excited to hear you guys are planning to do it. It is not exclusive to Four Seasons so you can book with no problem from any resort/location. Our guide was Rainui and I can't recommend him enough. He loves his island and the nature, and very informative. We learned so much about the culture, the people, the history, the water, etc. We met some of the other guides on the tour and they were extremely fun to be with. Here is their website: lagoonservice.com/bora-bora-private-full-day-snorkeling-lagoon-tour.html The ATV tour was so fun and different. You can experience different views of Bora Bora since you'll be looking outward from the main island, instead of looking inward from the resort to the mountain. Our guide Manu was so fun and informative. He was a guide for many famous folks like Jeff Bezos, Jason Statham, and Snoop Dogg. I take that as a good indication for a great tour company. Here is their website: www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g311415-d18969017-Reviews-BORA_BORA_ATV_JET_SKI_ADVENTURES-Bora_Bora_Society_Islands.html
You speack wery well, im also the guide from Moana Adventure tour I love the guess like you
Ia orana parahata! Mauruuru roa for your good words. We dream everyday about going back to Bora Bora. We would love to go on an adventure with you and Moana Adventure Tour!

Hey we’re planning our trip FINALLY LOL for next year. Anyway to privately contact you by instagram or X or facebook to get tips etc. thanks !!!
We're so happy for you guys! Better late than never. RUclips is the sole social media platform we use for public use, currently. Hopefully one day, we can grow enough to do something like you described. It may not be as direct or private, but we'd be happy to answer any questions you may have via the comments here. You'd just want to make sure you don't share private info.
Thank you for sharing these picturesque sights of scenic San Diego. I especially liked seeing the giant trees and the bonsai trees at the Desert Garden. The Spanish architecture is so characteristic of California style. Glad to see you both enjoying your travels with your good friends. Wishing you many more happy travels! 🙂👍
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I love your travel vlogs. I think I watched your St. Regis Bora Bora vlog about 10 times before we went last year. It was so helpful!
We're so happy to hear that it was helpful and even more excited to hear that you went there. We hope you had an amazing time - we miss it every single day!
Do you guys have an Instagram account to follow? Thanks
Hi! Thank you for the interest. RUclips is the only social media platform we currently use. Thanks!
Great video and the cutest dog ever!!
Thank you so much!
Every time I watch your travel videos they make me feel like I'm on vacation, too. The relaxing vibes and your enjoyment of the sights, attractions and restaurants are all a welcome respite from my day. Thanks for sharing beautiful San Diego and the beautiful San Diego weather. I'm glad you had a great time with your friends. 👍
What a huge compliment and kind words! Thank you for watching!
Great guide...how much did you tip him?
Thank you so much for watching! I can't recall the exact amount. But I don't think it was nearly as high as what's normal in the US tipping culture because tipping is just a nice gesture in Tahiti, nothing more.
Sushi Ota is my No.1 favorite sushi place in SD 😮🎉
Then it sounds like we went to the right spot! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for sharing your very scenic San Diego travel adventure. Your meals looked so delicious. I'm glad you were able to travel with your friends, and I'll look forward to watching Pt. 2 of your journey. 👍
It was a wonderful trip for sure, especially travelling with friends. Thank you so much for watching!
Hello What month did you go? Thanks
Hi Robert, this was in June 2022. Thanks for watching!
@@heyTRVLwithME we are planning on going next year but when the kids go back to school is easier for us. I wonder if the temperature dips in Sept Oct. I'd hate to spend all that money and be disappointed by the temperature. It's happened to me before
@@robertbourke8618 Aside from random act of God, I doubt the temperature in Sept Oct will drop significantly. The average highs during those months are 79F and lows in 60s. Also, those months are in the shoulder season so while it won’t be the driest month, it won’t be the wettest month either. You might get the best deals by going during those months.
Awesome underwater footage. Glad you were able to celebrate your anniversary in such a beautiful resort. Thanks for sharing your journey. 👍
It truly was breathtaking. The notification for your comment made me re-watch this vlog and we miss it so much!
do you know what the song called started 17:50? thx
Hello! Rainui introduced it to us as "Bora Bora" and here is his RUclips link to the song: ruclips.net/video/jVqfjcmW1U4/видео.html&ab_channel=RainuiATIU
Loved this video. The chill vibes, the yummy food, the grand vistas and, the two of you are great company. Love your adorable white fur person, too!
Thank you so much for enjoying our trip with us!
Terry Blacks is definitely the best BBQ in Dallas!
We agree 100%! Can't wait to try it again.
Very nice views. 🎉🎉🎉
thank you for watching!
Thanks for brightening my day with your LA adventure. There's so much to do and see in LA, and the sunshine is great. I hope you had a great visit. I love LA. ❤👍🙂
We love LA, too! Thank you as always for watching!
Thank you so much for sharing your vacation and experience with us! My husband and I will be going for the first time in December and staying at the Four Seasons as well as doing the same snorkeling excursion you did as well! So excited! Did the room have an AC unit?
Thank you so much for watching! You guys are going to have an amazing time and should very well be excited! I'd be counting down the days. Yes, every room has an AC unit. It has an automatic off feature when any of the doors are open (i.e. front, deck), except for the sliding doors by the indoor tub.
Thank you for this video! Bidet, or no bidet in your room?
Thanks for watching our videos! We've been in both Mountain View and Beach View rooms and no bidet in either one.
How was the bone marrow? I don't think I've tried that either. Wow, the lake is so bluuee! Canada is pretty! We both still have not been to Canada. Hopefully soon.
It was great but not my favorite. I think I'd rather fill my stomach with the actual beef lol. We loved Canada and hope you guys can visit soon!
@heyTRVLwithME hehe, that's good to know. Thank you! We hope so too!
Ah, Daniel's family dog is also named Dubu. lol. So cute~ Mt. Rushmore is def on our list. Aw, it's too bad they didn't allow pets all the way in. Love the views on Day 5. Looks like you all had a lot of fun!
haha that's funny! I wonder if you guys named your dog Dubu for same reason we did, tofu in Korean. We wish pets were allowed in National Parks, like Canada, but it still was amazing!
@heyTRVLwithME haha, yesss. His family is Korean so his dog is also tofu. 🤭
Yesss, Foodland Poke is amazing. I especially love the Market City location. They also recently opened one up in Pearl City as well. I love love Island Vintage Coffee. My fave coffee place on the island! lol. If you get a chance you should try Romy's Shrimp truck in the North Shore too. They have really good butter garlic shrimp and the pineapple Li Hing Mui there too. Glad you enjoyed Hawaii! Enjoyed your vlog~
We agree! Foodland Poke and Island Vintage Coffee's coffees are amazing! The IVC's coffees are probably one of our favorites. If we get another chance to visit Oahu, we're gonna try Romy's Shrimp Truck and your videos are going to be extremely helpful. Thank you for watching!
@heyTRVLwithME Oh haha thanks for checking out our channel. We def need to get back into it. Let us know if you're ever curious about anything here on Oahu. Hope you guys find yourselves back in Hawaii. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Hi…new subscriber here 👋🏼 I’m really enjoying all the beautiful scenery, and wonderful foods you two are eating! My wife is Korean, so I told her about how you were eating Kimchi Jjigae in the beginning of the video, and she immediately subscribed to your channel lol! Looking forward to seeing more of your content
Hi! Yes, that Kimchi Jjigae was very much needed. I'm sure you guys can understand what it feels like when finally eating Korean soul food after some time. Thank you and your wife for watching!
Banff !!!! Definitely want to go back there. Those lakes are fantastic!!!
OMG Paul! You've been everywhere - RESPECT!
@@heyTRVLwithME and so will you in time ⛰️🌵🍂🌊🏝️
Great looking food and glacier national park is sooooooo amazing.
We're just trying to be adventurous like you!
Thank you for brightening my day with your Canada road trip. The views at 9:10 were spectacular. Happy New Year! 🥂
Thank you for your kind comment! Happy New Year!
Luiaa Bora Bora ✨✨👌👏👏
mauru'uru for watching! te ia arofa ia rahi!
Thanks for sharing your great road trip. Your meals looked so tasty. Dubu is so cute! 👍
Aw thank you so much!
yo! you crated fantastic trip, peace out. 🤟
Thank you! Cheers!
Great venue for a wedding in beautiful Colorado. I'm glad you had a very enjoyable time celebrating with friends. Congratulations to the newlyweds and wishing them a joyful life. Thanks for sharing your travels. 👍
As always, thank you so much for watching and enjoying our travels!
FYI...Li hing powder is local Chinese-inspired sweet/sour powder mix, found on Every/Any dessert, be it pineapple, shave ice(NOT Shaved ice) & gummy snacks. As a baseline comparison, Foodland is a good starting point. If/when you guys return, checkout Keeaumoku Seafood, just up the road from Walmart, Alicia's Kitchen, Tamashiro Market, Nico's @ Pier 38 deli, Ryder's Poke & Shave Ice and, my Personal favorite...Poke on Da Run. The list of poke shops/eateries is Endless!-lol
Thanks for the info! Poke on da Run was on our list but just didn't have enough time lol. We hope we can return again and try your suggestions.
We just got back from there. What a beautiful place. 😍
You must've had a great time! We would love to go back one day.
Thank you for sharing your food recommendations! Enjoyed the snorkling shots and awesome drone footage that captured the beauty of Oahu~
Thank you so much for watching!
