When you fought the Beetle with Yellow Wind Sage, it took place in the past (Pre-journey to the west even). In the presence day, the Yellow Wind Sage got his hand on the Fuming Ear relic after Sun Wukong passing, and it's power corrupted his mind (similar to what happened to the Black Wind King), causing him to go mad and obsessed with unlocking it's power (which he can't since his body/vessel are not strong enough to withstand it's power. Which is why he asked you during his boss fight "Who in all the realm can withstand it's power?"). The Yellow Wind Sage chopped off his Master's head to store the relic inside (Since the Bodhisattva's body is strong enough to withstand the power of the relic), and summoned a hurricane to ward off outside interference.

With the yellow wind sage your first encounter you are taken back to the past when the original wukong first meet him he used wukong to help him defeat the beetle because the item u get from the Beatles back during the fight was stoping the yellow wind sages wind powers so he used wukong to get it so he could defeat and harness The Beatles power for himself you get took back to the past to see those events and the second tiger vanguard that you encounter is actually the father of the first tiger vanguard u fought and the mad tiger

I wouldn't go as far as saying bail's the easiest I'd give that to the dragon hunter guy you get the great dragon hunter katana from or the invader boss that's dressed up in bear skin in one of the tombs. But bail is pretty easy though.

This boss fight is what broke me. I turned into a god after it. Knowing exactly how to fight in the game. When to roll when to heal and when to attack. Before him it was easy after him it just got harder
