It did, but it after it hit the ground in fair territory…if it had bounced off the rubber and flew in the air to foul territory, then it would be a foul ball.

it can hit the ground in fair territory and still be a foul ball as long as it is before the bag so it should of been called a foul ball unless it ended up hitting the pitcher

Not for nothing but this is also little league, these balls aren't moving that fast either. Have you never seen a pitcher catch a line drive before? I see it all the time in the MLB, MiiB, NPB, and KBO, heck even in highschool baseball; none of those pitchers are moving their hands away from the ball and those balls are moving 100+mph......the kid here has bad reflexes and needs to work on that, could've been an easy out, maybe throw to 1st base if he at least blocked the ball. Sorry if the truth hurt your feelings but it appears a few people agreed with me. ^

Maybe you should watch some baseball if you think its uncommon......it happens all the time and a good pitcher trains to be ready for play after they release the ball. Granted these are kids but that probably helps my point more because their hits are slower than older players, exit velocity here was probably 50-60mph versus 100+mph in college and professional baseball. My point wasn't even that he should've made the catch, but his reflex went the opposite direction from what it should have. At a minimum you should be trying to block the ball or best case catch it, don't pull yourself away from it.
