Hola amigo como le haces para girar la turbina mi camioneta le quite el tapón pero no le veo el tornillo

@@nayoruiztv1080 de donde se gira es que me han cambiado el aceite de transmisión pero el mecánico solo le cambio lo que tiene del carter por qué dice que mi turbina no tiene tornillo. Gracias
@@josegarza2982 de enfrente del motor del tornillo delcrankshaft le giras hasta que se asome el tornillo por el hoyo

No tiene nada, solo se mira como un disco, es una Ford F 150 2006 , gracias camarada.
No es el tornillo , es una tapita como de plástico

Debajo de ese tapón está el tornillo para drenar la turbina
En hora buena amigo, la mía 2002 4.2, hice lo mismo para buscar el tornillo del convertidor o turbina, y la mía no lo tiene 😢😢, solo le drene el que trae en el carter

S llena al poner el aceite nuevo en donde va la varilla para checar el nivel
even with no sound this video is really awesome. I have a 4.6L 2v in a 1997 Expedition that is going to require gasket replacement. Might try the chains as well. It's got 280k miles, and still runs great.

Amigo. Tengo una 03 Ford f150 5.4 según la transmisión agarra 5-6 cuartos. Pero Onde está para el torque converter..? Y es la misma aceite ..? En total cuánto?
Abajo del torque converter trai un tapon de plastico allui esta el tornillo para drenarlo y total lleva approximadamemte 11 quartos y medio
When you drain the pan and the torque converter like you did, how many quarts does it take to fill it back up? Planning on doing my f150 today

Does this work on a 2007? And where is the crank shaft bolt located? Also when finished do I need to readjust the crank shaft bolt?

you dont have to remove the intake to do this job? mine just went out and been looking at vids all day, the first ive seen one done with the intake on

Leave the fuel rail on the Manifold. Makes the job a LOT easier.

It’s just a rubber plug you remove to get access to the torque converter drain bolt.
@@nayoruiztv1080 mine is missing on my f150. I'm searching for the name so I can buy the plug. The auto parts store doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Juárez Solís,solo tíralo ese plástico sale cuando por primera vez se la hace cambio ala transmisión es como señal que es su primer servicio

With a torque wrench spin the crankshaft bolt until you see it through the inspection port. (Easier done with someone) helping)

Looks like you used OTC 6477 cam positioning tool. Haynes manual says to use OTC 6009/6020 for Romeo engines and the one you used for Windsor. Did you have any trouble with the tool you used?

Thanks for sharing! I am about to do the timing replacements--right (passenger) chain has slack like yours (noticed when replacing valve cover gaskets). I am not sure I really need new chains, but I know the plastic chain guide is broken and tensioners worn. I have same Romeo engine as you (noticed 2G842AA REP on valve cover)
I recimmend you replace chains also
One thing i would change about what i did is the tensioners remove the ratcheting device because it tightens the chain too much and causes chains stretch

You are the only one to show draining the torque converter (which I think holds more fluid than the pan). THANK YOU! How did you align the plug/bold to remove it? Did you need to pull plugs or just muscle the engine around to align with the drain hole?
Yeah pretty much just turning the crankshaft bolt until you see it through the inspection port ..no removing plugs..thanks for the support 🙏
With a torque wrench or a big ratchet spin the crankdhaft bolt clockwise until you see it in the inspection port( easier with someone helping )
