Exactly. If I'm wearing something casual like a t shirt and shorts, then bigger is the way to go. If I'm wearing something dressier or slim like a sweater, then smaller is better.

A Rolex is a statement...a statement you may not want to make. A modern Tudor diver watch is what a Submariner used to be. But you could easily wear a £8k no date Sub amongst a room full of Patek and AP wearers and not feeling out of place. I'm not convinced you can do the same in a Tudor. I think the thing is, there will be people who's grail watch is a steel Rolex Submariner. You see millionaires wearing them. Is that true of Tudor?

What an absolute joke to wait 7 to 10 years for a watch !! I have two Rolexes one the Gold day date presidential and one submariner the Gold Day Date I got from Dubai Airport right there and then and the submariner stainless was again easy from my AD here in Cyprus I just walked in and walked out with the watch . Half of what you read is bs but 7 to 10 years is a joke and it’s not even funny !!

I would advise anyone to buy a clone, you basically get the same watch but at a reasonable price, watches today are over priced

Best time to buy? Is this why you are an actual seller? The market has further to fall. You are attempting to keep up the hype as you have lots of watches. Notice how few buyers are out there? The market is flooded with watches. There is no best time.

Time to educate folks, put on your thinking hats, and gather round' yall. Rolex produces 1 million watches a year on average. Of those million watchs, not all of them are the most sought-after models, IE, Subs, daytonas, and GMT's. My rep, who I recently picked up my black sub date from, said he gets 60 watches from Geneva a month to his store but gets 100 new clients interested in a watch each week; and those are just his clients not counting the other 100+ clients the other reps in the AD are getting as well. Now do the math here, people. Of those 60 watches a month, do you think they are all stainless steel sports models? No, they are other models that have a significantly higher profit margin. Rolex is not creating "aRtIfIcAl ScArCiTy", they are simply not mass producing the most popular models year round. Is it fair? Couldn't say, supply and demand, and supply chains are not something I can speak on regarding Rolex. Is it artificial scarcity? No, it's not.

I pull more ladies with my 49.00 dollar G-Shock then all these clout chasers and their Rolex watches. You can own as many Rolex watches that you want , but if you don’t have a particular look, that Rolex don’t mean shit.
