I love Xiaoyu! She has a good mix-up game that other players simply don't have. I like her rain dance and phoenix stances! But i still haven't figured out how to cancel her unblockable

Idc for these 'how to play Xiaoyu guides'.. My thing is play how you want to play her cause if you're winning there's no right or wrong way to play her.. Any character for that matter. For me as a Xiaoyu main I play to my comfort and I mostly win but if I lose it's ok it's just a game after all :)

She isn't hard to play. I played her for the first time at an arcade and won the whole game.

Xiaoyu's rage drive is not unsafe on block, it's -4.

So Xioa can block launch punish at 14 frames?

I never thought from going into "so shoe me" into "mistrust"! I always did "so shoe me" as a troll way to finish opponents. What is a good base combo from the list that goes with it?

Starting Xiaoyu and tekken in general, got completely lost when you removed the output on screen rofl. Still a very informative and helpful tutorial. Thank you. I'll keep rewatching this til I get better

Great video! So I've been wondering about something and thought I'd ask here: I've seen videos of Tanukana using a lot of Sunflower (WS + 2) in footsies, presumably for fishing for counter hits, (I might be wrong, this is my first Tekken so what do I know :)) Anyway, I've been trying to do that move consistently but generally find myself doing the wrong input and getting Crouching 2 instead. Is this just something you have to practice to become consistent at, like everything else, or is there a technique the good Xiaoyu players use in order to make it easier? Sometimes Tanukana does it so fast that I don't even see her crouching beforehand, not even in videos where I can rewind and look for the crouching animation etc. Because what I've noticed when practicing this particular move, is that if you crouch too short of a duration, you will simply get a standing 2. Also, quick follow-up question, am I right in believing that WS + 2 is the move you use for punishing unsafe lows? I feel like it's too slow to punish sometimes, so perhaps it's only a viable option when you've blocked some extremely unsafe ones? Edit: For the second question I should've watched the whole video before commenting. :D
