Flying Drones at the Lake Front in Kissimmee Florida
I went out this morning to fly with a friend who recently passed her Part 107 Certificate and has a new DJI Mini 4K drone. It was nice weather and a cool place to fly along the shore of Lake Tohopekaliga.

Since February 2023 we have been doing construction progress drone photos and videos of three different logistic buildings. These projects are built by HGR Construction and financed by Stonemount Financial Group with leasing handled by JLL. We are working for JLL. This is a compilation of some of the videos we did through the duration of the project.

We had a construction progress video job and decided to have fun with the DJI Avata FPV drone. The decision to add some of the footage to the final video for the client to our surprise the client loved it and asked that we include FPV footage when ever we can in future videos.

The facility is 1650 acres and is located in Christmas, Florida. This is a great place for hiking, biking, nature & wildlife photography, bird watching, and much more. I had some batteries to burn so I just took a little time to fly around the backyard of the house. The DJI Avata is such a fun little FPV to fly. Haven't mastered manual mode yet. Still using the Simulator to get the feel for flying manual. Even so, you can get some nice maneuvers with the Motion Controller.

What road or trail is that starting at 9 seconds?
That is the road up to Independence Mine. In the winter you have to park at the lower lot and walk up to the actual mine area. It's a little over a mile walk.

Yes, it has been cool here for several days temps as low as 32 in some areas. But it is Florida and we will be back to the high 70's during the day soon.
