I recently bought the American Civic X for daily use. The car has been through a small crash on the side and the side curtains/airbags exploded. I've bought the replacement part and airbags and the car is currently being worked on, which brings me to my question. Do I need to reset/replace the SRS module in the car? I've heard that in some cars, after the airbags go off you need to replace the module, as replacing the airbags only will result in them going off as soon as you turn on the vehicle. I've also heard it's not necessary in every vehicle. What should I do?

@@MASTERMIKEEE I just added the link in the description for what I recommend using! @@brownsburg.motorsports ok check this out - put everything together and the corroded side still didn’t work!! After hours of troubleshooting, I realized the left and right assembly’s have the same power connection; just inverted. So I connected the (known good) right side assembly to the (unknown/not working) left power plug. It worked!! This seems to confirm that the new headlight assembly is not working, right? And then to double check, I tried the (apparently broken) assembly on the good power cable, and it still did not work! Planning to return it and get a replacement.

@@MASTERMIKEEE nice troubleshooting steps 🙌🏽 did you replace the TMS or just the assembly? TMS could also be the culprit I have ran into that before 🥲 you could swap the TMS from the good headlight that’s working to the one that seems to not be working and test again on the side with the corroded plug and see if it works if it still doesn’t the get a replacement but If it does work then get a new TMS just make sure they have the same amount of prongs because there are multiple ones!
