We are James and Susan Burroughs and in our mid sixties. We live in northern Minnesota. Six years ago I started progressively getting sicker with some sort of nervous system illness the doctors can't figure out. I gradually got worse as the season moved to winter and better during summer. To our disbelief it became evident I was allergic to winter. Doctors have no clue why. The only answer my doctors came up with was to move south. Starting in October and ending in May I only leave the house for the doctor or emergency. The doctors thought snowbirding might be a way to cheat the disease and get my life back.

So please join our journey! Starting with buying a travel trailer a week before new years day! Now we'll spend the winter gathering as much knowledge as possible. This summer will include test runs locally and then a trip a few hours away. If we don't kill ourselves then we'll head south for the winter. See you on the road.
