This melody was repeating in my head till I couldn’t ignore it. When I tracked the guitar and instruments, I could hear the words on top so naturally and I’m really happy with how it came out. This song is about fear. All parts written and recorded myself, except the automated drums.

I had a lot of fun recording this song, I still have a long way to go as far as sound quality goes but I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made so far. The song is about fighting back even when it feels like a lost cause. Seeing the ugliness in the world but fighting for the scraps of beauty. There was an empty stage, no one was playing any music. I saw the bass sitting there, so I got on stage and plugged into the house guitar amp so I could get some fuzz, but people started yelling that I wasn’t supposed to do that. At the end someone stepped in to play drums, completely improvised but we hacked it out and we had a blast. Recorded at Road Rangers in Taylor, Mi.
