Using Octopus Guard to Recover Your Guard
This was awesome, thanks Matt.
Bunch of dudes touching eachother
Pretty much
rex kwon do 😎
The moment u pull his knee he will punch u on the face
So once u lock your hands u must be quick because his going to kick u with the knee
We'll keep this is mind
Well it worked for George and Sam's no walkover.
True 🤣
Watched a mma foght where the teo dudes danced around the cage for 12 minutes, i feel you, it turns into a "what are we doing here" sotustion
I get practicing this stuff to help in a fight but making a whole individual sport out of it is just kinda ... well at what point are you not just enjoying hugging each other? Why not just have the hug and then move on with your day?
LOL, you obviously don’t know what submissions are😂
very nice.
Agreed 👌🏻

What the price for non London Grapple members to attend the comp class??
londongrapple.co.uk/visitors
@@LondonGrapple I'm already registered as a visitor as I've attended your weekend open mats, but the link you provided doesn't list a price for the competition classes, as far as I could see.

very well structured classes!
😍😍😍
That was a good session!
Beautiful spot!
3:32
1:47
0:32 knee cut
0:45 "This waist grip" is called a Seatbelt. Position is Seatbelt-Whizzer position.
It'a also called an underhook 🤣
nice!
Awesome details Thanks
I need some advanced tips. While you post both hands on his sides, its a high level grappler and he grabs both arms and sends you flying nullifying all the leg pummeling you're processing. Thanks in advance.
CJI 🔥
Wish you had more Gi content!
Great win especially given how well Davis has done lately. Ross is just consistently good.
Thanks Rob, it's certainly aged well
Yeah but head inside will leave your head vulnerable to punches. Good example is Almeida vs Blaydes.
If you stay inside and do nothing then yes you will be punched but these are takedowns not control positions
@@bifn It's not that if you go for a takedown, you'll get it. The other person can defend. See the fight I recommended.
@@theinvertedprotagonist I know i watched that fight live, If they defend your takedown you re-position yourself and get out of danger, its not rocketscience. Almeida was just being dumb
Yes but he had tunnel vision with the leg you can't do that you need to chain wrestle constantly
@@jonmoris9354 i know dude, this video isnt telling you to do that..
cant. believe it took me 2 years to see this, brilliant demonstration
Nek.minute
Can I take him down from the opposite position of where my head is? Like I can use my head to push him to the left? When do I know which side to take him down to?
10/10
Excellent instruction for 🐢
Lmao at the facial expression at the start. What a weirdo.
But what is a Moonman?
Fetal position basically
Would it make sense to make this pass with leg weave grip?
In this case no, as you've already pinned their knees together using your hips
But ground fighting is useless against two opponents.
This is gold, should have more exposure
Thank you
Love the feet aimed at the chest idea. Simple. Will try it this week.
🔥🔥🔥
Love the rear ezekiel
Sick. 🤙🏼
1:00, 1:40, 4:52
Kinda difficult to transition from grabbing the legs to getting both arms around the waist as he wont let you either by wrist control or an underhook
very nice video. thank you for the input.
Amazing advanced moves! Many thanks!
Guy texting in the back is missing out
That's me
sick! first! id like to come train with you guys some day! oss!
You're welcome any time
❤❤❤
Could you provide a description of what the classes look like? I recently moved to London and I’d like to join a BJJ gym. I only have a few months of experience at 3 different gyms. However, one thing that I noticed about BJJ classes is that they tend to be highly inefficient and essentially do not incorporate the proper learning science and ways to get good quickly. I don’t want to practice a technique for 3 minutes and then move on and not see it again for months. The lack of drilling to really nail down techniques is annoying. If you look at wrestling, they are drilling over and over again instead of rolling as soon as possible. BJJ classes tend to be unsystematic (I know there are some good ones, but it’s just what I’ve personally noticed and heard from other people online), there’s very little connection between techniques and it doesn’t set itself up to allow for maximized progression based on what each individual needs. Anyways, I’m hoping to go to a gym that fits my philosophy and allows for some time for students to dedicate time drilling specific situations based on what they believe to be lacking in their game. Would also be great allow for reflection on what went wrong and so that you can then re-drill to try to create feedback loops on your skills. Can I go in outside of class and practice with a training partner so that we can drill and keep the training more fluid based on what will help us progress faster?
Please check out our website and feel free to pop down for a free trial class
Great video…straight to the point !!!
