sooo many kids coming to me from a rec gym class who have been taught to lead with head and arms catch up way later !

The second one is my fav like how can some one say acrobatic elements dont looks cool in dance or dont fit in with dance its like my favorite part of dancing to watch and if they got good foot work thats cool to watch too

I 100 precent agree and know the the personal struggle of trying to learn an aerial using a one hand then opposite hand it doesnt help like you said. What helped me the most is actually using a martial arts trick known as a butterfly kick then slowly inverting that into a side to side aerial and once I mastered the side to side cart wheel type aerial I eventually just got my more formal gymnastics and dance aerial.

I only wear plain studs when teaching. I used to wear sparkly studs and it distracted my littles.

The 4 step system is an exceptional system. The process may take a little time however once dancers get their aerial they will be able to do it from a variety of entrances without requiring runs into it.
