During our trip to Manila, Philippines, we had arrange to meet a Korean missionary to visit one of many slums in Metro Manila.
We were accompanied by a local reverend who had a minister in the area.
Missionary Jung and Rev. Rufin had long been acquainted and been cooperating in various missions.
During this visit, we distributed portable water purifiers for the people to use on their water supply.
The people of Bukid, Valenzuala city were literally living above landfills and surrounded by trash.
Due to lack of tap water in most of the houses sickness is common.
We hope the water purifiers will provide a means of clean water for the people and children.
