It’s been incredible following your journey designing and assembling this stall! The care you put into your first artist alley is admirable, and the result is truly magical. Watching your videos this past month has also inspired me to give my dream of creating a sticker business a go. I’m still early in my path learning to use Procreate and mocking up my first prototypes, but I plan to start a RUclips channel this week to document my progress. Thank you for sharing your art with us! Hope I can meet you in person at one of those artist alleys next year 🥰.

cut smaller pieces of cardboard to go in between the cardboard sticker dividers (24:24), like a side support. if you have something that will brace the cardboard at the sides, sandwiched between the taller pieces, they can't fall over!

Congratulations for getting accepted and hurray for first artist table, so happy for you, I've been waiting to see you & your stuff at a market so I'll see you at Sydney KaiCon!!! Your design and build is looking so cute and standout so far!! It's so fun seeing artist builds, esp in recent years, everyone started to go ham xD I reckon since twilight market is low lit, defs focus on the lighting and making sure items don't get hidden or shadowed under/behind anything once you start test displaying items. Excited to see more of your market & table prep :D

omg i am so excited for you!!! 💗 you're gonna do great!! and all the prep sketching out different concepts and ideas / being intentional about why you're decorating the way you are is going to make such a difference!! small tip- if you don't like the texture of cardboard (and it kinda seemed like you didn't haha) you can also use foam core board! it's not as environmentally friendly since you'd have to go out and buy it, but maybe when you're ready to level up a lil bit you could upgrade! I do feel like the painted cardboard turned out so cute tho so don't feel like you need to rush youself!!! also, the green fake grass fabric and lil duck light is ~perfection~

Put a watermark on every picture and design you put out and add your name onto every piece you make : after you photograph and put on you social media. Of course not in your actual art.

An Aussie! I wasn't expecting that when I clicked on it. It's a horrible way to feel but such a great way to spin it for yourself that it proves there is a market for your work :-) I had no idea that fan art is tricky, I don't know much about this field. I used to do markets (jewelry) and know how different all of the organisers can be. The only good side I suppose is that it wasn't someone big like Anthropologie the US store that is famous for ripping people off and making heaps of money. Keep up the work,

I'm SO sorry to hear that your art got stolen. I'm glad to hear that all of them took down the photos even though one hesitated. It's really sad to see that he messed up his credibility, it's extremely hard to come back from that. I'm just glad that he was apologetic. I LOVE Legally Blonde!!!!!

I am very sorry this happened to you. Please do not be discouraged. Unfortunately there are people like this, and there are people who enable them. I have seen alot of merchants who do this and organizers don't care as long as they get paid. Please do not be discouraged. Just do what you can and move on. Stressing on this won't do any good. Just keep making art and keep being the best person and artist that you can be.😊

The third event organisers’ response made me low key feel like they were their first enablers, allowing them to get this far to begin with. Artists deserve to have events that fully support us and that was not it. How can they earn any trust from any other seller in the future? Actual garbage PR It’s incredible of the art thief to have apologised. We can only hope they either hold true to their apology or end up making art of their own. While it is sad that they just decided to end their “career”, know that it’s absolutely not your responsibility and they entirely deserved to get shut down. Them stopping is entirely their problem and you handled it so well. Wishing you all the best.

This is so amazing - I definitely share a lot of these feelings and know that how I'm working now is not sustainable for me. I have some things in the next few years that I'm saving for that'll help to set me up but after that I'm out too! Will definitely be looking back at this video and all the great reflections you've done when that time comes. Sending you lots of happy thoughts - hope you keep discovering what works for you.
