Well having my Ham Ticket for over 15 years I am glad to see ACS reaching out to get people involved in the hobby. BUT ON ANOTHER NOTE, You really need to bring back the CERT TRAINING PROGRAM! What you have in place at this time is a JOKE you need better involvement from the community not just meetings. I have been to three of them learned ZERO. Take a hint from the FEDS on this one they have the money and you'll find that more people trained = a safer people. CERT members handle so much more than you can imagine and it is cheap!!! Just look at Tacoma, WA, Riverside County, and the hundreds of other large CITIES in this country that utilize CERT and ACS is part of the mix. Paul

Fun fact, you can use the same cribbing methods to safely move heavy machinery and other objects without people underneath. Capturing lifting progress with cribbing is the safest way to raise vehicles for maintenace too. (I gave away my jack stands long ago and use 6x6, 4x4 etc cribbing and horizontally placed car and truck rims. Nothing is going through those.)

What the hell is wrong with you people? You're doing bucket toilets all wrong. It's obvious you have no experience with this and are just regurgitating a FEMA howto pamphlet. The bleach won't cut down on the odor, it will just creat a soggy, leaky mess when you try to change the bag. The way to cut down on odor is to keep the poop dry. That means using a second jar for pee and sprinkling a scoop of absorbent over each dump. And shredded newspaper does NOT work. It's a terrible absorbent and ends up smelling really nasty. You also did not specify which kind of kitty litter. Clay doesn't work, those crystal absorbers don't work. What works is wood pellets. Take this video down, do a little research, check with people who actually use bucket toilets -maybe a few vanlife youtubers - and then try it out for a couple of weeks before you post a new video with real instructions.
