It’s interesting to see someone using traditional grip on the hi hat instead of the snare. Whenever I see someone using traditional grip it’s usually on the snare and the other hand is using non traditional grip. Steve Gadd; a master at work.
Dave has got it all drum-wise, definitely one of the greatest modern drummers.
I love this style of drumming. Kieth Carlock does is nice too.

When I listen to bill withers 9/10 times it’s just this set they played in Germany 1972. Used to have the full thing on RUclips audio and video but it was taken down a few times due to copyright. Now I just have the audio download that I listen to never had a chance to save the video. Also song is “kissin’ my love” for anyone wondering
