@bradleycarroll6624 Hi Bradley, Thanks for the video, I'm thinking of doing the same thing. However, just a quick question did you have to change the center stand? If you didn't, how difficult is it to put the bike back onto the centre stand afetr your modification?

Thanks for your comment! I'm in the process of making a new RUclips clip about that and a rundown of how the bike handles now (very good by the way!). What I use is peice of board about an inch (prox 25mm) thick on the ground and roll the bike onto it. Then I can put the crntre stand down easily. No need to change the centre stand! Good luck with your project and any questions you have about lowering your bike, I would be happy to answer them! Cheers!

Hi Mika! Thanks for the positive response, I'm just back from travel and filming was on my list to do. I should have already done this, my apologies! Time and priorities have made put it to the side, but I will get on to it ASAP!

Thanks Zenon! Let me know if you get a Scott Oiler and if it works well. Happy riding to you!

Hi Zenon! Thanks for that! I really have had not too much to do with Scott Oilers. I can only assume that they work, but I suspect that they could get messy flinging oil everywhere!

Hi Zenon! As the length of the swing arm has not changed, the chain adjustment should be the same as the manual. It must not have been easy making the link, well done! Cheers! Brad

The previous lowering link is not available on Amazon anymore. The cheapest I could find that is the same is on Krooz accessories KroozR Honda CRF1000 Africa Twin Lowering Linkage 30mm at MXstore www.mxstore.com.au/p/KroozR-Honda-CRF1000-Africa-Twin-Lowering-Linkage/KT-AFTWLL-30?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA2pyuBhBKEiwApLaIO5ER_g6hfccjWUx67vY39KZtQfg9-blO7uuo2Ep725UA69NWdRYM9xoC24IQAvD_BwE

Morning Bradley, thank you for the update. I was struggling to get the combined bits that are needed, however with your link above I've now ordered them to be shipped to me in the UK. I'll let you know how it goes.. Thanks again.

Hi Bradley enjoyed your video and after watching it I am considering getting a nt1100 in spring. I have to ask, are you in Australia or maybe Newzealand. The reason for asking is that your surname Carroll is quite unique (the spelling). My Mothers maiden name was Carroll and she had a brother (Jimmy) who as a young man emmigrated to Newzealand. Regards Tony

Hi Tony! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and the NT1100 is a great bike! I am in Australia and my family has been here a very long time. I don't know of any New Zealand relatives although I can discount that being the case! Regards, Brad Carroll

Good clear video. I saw the previous video and wondered if changing to the recommended 15mm instead of the previous 30mm still gave the result you wanted?

Hi Robert! I have actually found very little differance in the height between 15mm and 30mm in adjusting the front suspension and the bike handles very well loaded and unloaded. Thanks for asking, cheers!
