A visual study of the Moche Culture of northern Peru. Created in one take using Mort's Barge System by LA67 and a dash of the KOMA Elektronik Field Kit FX. It is a known fact that the Moche culture like many others used hallucinogens to aid in their rituals and religious rites. This is the central theme of this electronic piece.

Like a mad professor I spent almost two years perfecting the most full bodied 60HP case I could think off. Many modules made their way through this case and then discarded until I achieved the final combination which you see here. This was my first impromptu performance with the unit. It is only a first try but I gather I will be able to achiever greater performances live with only this little ...

Imagine being out in the middle of the desert near the ancient city of UR in Mesopotamia back 5,000 years ago. That's what the theme of this piece is all about. Recorded on 4 tracks using the LA67 Mort's Barge a Electro-Harmonix 45000 and the beautiful echoes of the Meris Polymoon and some reverb.

Recorded in two takes. Unfortunately video no. 2 had technical difficulties and was not used and therefore video might look offset or images may not fully match though they look beautiful. Only 2 SOMA Lyra-8 were used and Lexicon reverb.

Hm, the Lyra i definitely don't understand. I could do that with any synth (or an oscillator only) and a reverb pedal.
So intensely beautiful, and yet if played against the right screenplay could be so terrifying the audience would need therapy! Inspiring, and what a treat to watch you perform this. Thank you.

Far the best improvisation piece I've yet heard from this early Buchla instrument, (bar 'Silver Apples of the Moon'). Curious to know just how much influence the KOMA is having over the sound though. A good match for Mort's Barge?

Quick question: is this module digital??
incredible music but would've been a much more interesting and serious visual piece without the shots of the Buchla. Or at least faded in and out. but I say leave them out. would've been more mysterious and other worldly. besides that this is incredible
Thanks but I needed to show Mort's Barge since it was at the time a new item out. I think this was the second video of the unit I made. There was none other at the time and I wanted people to see the unit so they could see what it was capable of and go purchase one. I really think LA67 did an excellent job. 🙂

Hey could you share the full patch you used for this?
There's no patches/presets, so I suggest recording what you create because it's almost impossible to recreate things...
This is faked. When you freeze the clouds element on this the left hand controls no longer do anything. I have one of these and you cannot get this level of control from it.

The Mini Grone Drone is similar to the original version 1. Even tho it doesn't have the same parameters, the Mini Grone Drone has a similar sound to the V1
