    The use of quotes in lieu of his own voice is, genuinely, so profound Eighty-three years later, we continue to use others’ words-many which are the exact lines he echoed-to express ourselves when our own fall short Daphne du Maurier wrote Rebecca some time in the 30s. So for Wilbur, her work was contemporary; For me, well, I cannot understand how a short story about f’ing birds-published over a decade after his entry-that I read six months ago can still keep me up at night… It’s all relative, and we’re not far removed Thank you for sharing! This is what the people want!! ✨
