Usually the engine brake solves the deceleration. You rarely need to brake.

Seriously spectacular road with more corners than Ive ever seen...but...sorry, if you are going to ride a road like that then for heavens sake, LEARN HOW TO CORNER....some examples in this video...including the clown with the paniers who almost fell off in front of the camera bike...are simply embarrassing as a vfr owner! Ever heard of leaning into the corner boys...these are NOT bicycles!...jeez...
Looks like you haven't been to a similar place yet. In every turn, you have to look back to see someone coming face to face. Because it is not very possible to fit side by side in a good curve. Very tight.

5:25 I grew up in Ireland and now love in the English Lake District so I risen roads with some dammed pretty scenery but that's something else.

I love the VFR. I love mine, but your exhaust is far too loud. It's idiots like you who will get motorcycles banned from the Alps and other popular roads all over Europe such as is happening in many places in Germany. It must be a nightmare for locals living in these beautiful alpine locations to have morons making as much noise as you do on your bike every day from dawn till dusk. You deserve to be stopped by the police, have your bike impounded and fined.

I passed my bike test in the UK yesterday and have been watching lots of VFR videos. Now I know I want a VFR800 and a trip to Stelvio Pass.
Don't get one, get a Ninja 1000 instead (Z1000SX it's called in the UK I think)

Imagine i went back to a 13 year elder 5th gen from a zx14r. Jus follow your heart. U get tired of speed one day, and u want something that has a character and is special for you. At that time, the vfr was made carefully with much love. Planning to get one more touring-offroad oriented , but the vfr remain mine as long i can ride

Those hairpins are far tighter and steeper than they seem on video and extra luggage dont help. This comes as a bit of a surprise for most. A bit embarrassing maybe, but compared to faster places a safe place to learn balance, placing and humility. I was worried about engine temp on ascend and for temps and brakes on descent. Passos test the condition of both rider and bike. Stelvio is an awesome place, visited 2014 and hoping to go there again.

it is so cringey every time you don't shift to 1st when u go up those hair pins... don't lug the engine man! What happened at 12:05 is what I expected to happen the way you ride that bike. Just shift to 1st and pull out of the corner. Don't tell me that is the 1st gear because I know how it feels and how it sounds like because I own a VFR800 myself. But apart from that stunning scenery and nice bike. I still want to go there myself, with car and motorbike on a small trailer together with lots of jerry cans (because I reckon fuel in CH is expensive?), book a hotel close to these roads for few days, leave car and trailer at hotel, hop on bike and have the time of my life ;)
