I tried this method yesterday and my wig turned orange I mean orange color. I'm not talking about orange or yellow undertone. I'm so sad because I literally wasted my money and the wig cost alot

To anyone reading this in 2024: I get better results by adding clarifying shampoo and warm water right to the mix in its original plastic container and after saturating the whole wig (I roll mine and brush it all through) you then can aluminum foil the top of the container. This is less mess, less wasteful, and the clarifying shampoo will help with the bleaching process. The aluminum foil speeds up the process. You can even throw in condition in the mix but only do the conditioner if you are NOT planning on dying the wig directly after.
