Marshalls kick ass! My dsl is stock and it screams. I once had a 800 that was brownsound all day and it was stock to shoulda had my ass kicked fer sellin it. Lots o peeps on here bashin marshall r nuts. You gotta turn em up BOYZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

buy a guitar to usb cable and use ausio4all drivers to get rid of latency problems

why do you use DI-box? does it really enhance the signal? i go straight into a sound card and it dont have the best sound...so i am considering an amp or di...help

@Gizmotrold It's because you either have a bad sound card, too noisy/too low output pickups or use Line-in signal without DI-box (plugging the guitar into the microphone port).

@lordguitarist00 If your problem is the crappy noise gate, then get FL studio and use Fruity Limiter or some external noise gate! I think these modelling softwares are good for silent practise (with headphones), maybe even recording half-assed songs (like I do), but they definately don't replace a physical amplifier.

@bandit7498 exactly check out the videos of my DSL i have 2 in the second video i do gary moores Infinite sustain. I love my DSL now, oce its tweaked with a od pedal. GREAT amp

@themodernguitarist i had the shittiest marshall. marshall mg100 shitty ass amp. the best amp i ever owned because i never had anything was a vox ad15vt it had a tube.i played with a mesa boogie express i loved every note that came out.

but it sound so dark and mudy why is that?

@emoboi311 Honestly, if you think Marshalls are hard to tweak, then why do you love Mesa? Mesa's need to be even more fined tuned, ESPECIALLY the Mark V's and newer Dual/Triple rectos.

@bandit7498 Yep, the Plexi is great. I like the 800 & the Vintage/Modern amps.

It's so easy to pick out the idiots that don't know shit about great guitar tone today. They trash Marshall, there's your idiot. Marshall has made a name for itself for over 50 years of ass kicking amps. Yet I actually read someone on here say the 800 (which wasn't around until the '80s) and the 2000s were the only good amps Marshall had. lol. Surely you jest moron. Ever heard of a little guy called the Plexi, among many others by Marshall?

@dollysinn marshalls are boring you have to tweak the hell out of them mesa's have alot more versatility. the only marshalls i liked were the jcm 800 and 2000. all of the rest sucks ass
