I remember learning the rule where we set it equal to 0/0. Then, a calc teacher told me the AP test changed the scoring guideline that setting it equal to 0/0 will not earn points, which took effect around 2018. Why did they make that change?
Basically it’s to clean up the work and avoid transitive property errors-if you said the limit was equal to 0/0 then did L’Hopital’s rule and said “the limit is 11!” you will be saying that 0/0=11 (or whatever number you calculated)

In fractions you also have the option of doing a reverse formula for the derivative (choose g^2 as denominator) and then solving a differential equation.

Ummhh what if you put letters a to h in every angle and the given is b = 3x - 4 and c= 2x + 29 and you need to find the x, a to h
It depends on if the angles are congruent (set the two equations equal to one another, solve for x first, then plug x in to both a and b to evaluate) or supplementary (add to 180, meaning (3x-4)+(2x+29)=180, then combine like terms and solve for x)
