@WideGuc Ok thank you 🙌🏻 But what I don’t understand is: when you tune down to drop F with the drop pedal you have: F C F A# D# G C The song is in: F A# F A# D# G C I just got my first 7 string which is in drop A. When I tune down to F I got 4 half steps on low B to F. But the other six strings are then in 6 = C 5 = F 4 = A# 3 = D# 2 = G 1 = C F C F A# D# G C Wait: that means you only have to tune the low E two steps manually down to get to: F A# F A# D # G C Is that correct? Sorry I’m new to this 🥹🤘🏻
You're right! Simplified, it's 7 string drop A and 6 string drop D combined: A D A D G B E and after that, drop those 7 strings 4 steps down to F A# F A# D# G C It is very fun tuning to play and write music because on the 7th and 6th, the string power chord shape is the same as in standard tuning, but on the 6th and 5th, it's drop power chord shape. What's even cooler, when you want to play octave you play them in the same way as in dropped tunings on 7th(with 5th) and 6th (with 4th)!
