at the Gundam Factory in Yokohama they have a life sized RX-78-2 that can move. There are Gunpla shops, a cafe and a museum showcasing the process of creating a huge moving robot like this. for safety reasons the Gundam's movements are very slow, so I decided to speed it up 🤣

Danjiri Matsuri is being held annually in Kishiwada city, which is about 20 minutes from Osaka by train, 40 minutes by car. unlike the more common Mikoshi, these intricately hand-crafted floats (Danjiri) are pulled at high speeds around town while the crews on board perform with drums, flutes and crazy dancing.

welcome to the new world, in Shinsekai. This entertainment district hasn't been modernized for a few decades but has kept its Showa era charm. There's good food, fun retro arcades, even a place for old guys to play Shogi and Go. if you happen to go to Osaka some day I recommend you check out Shinsekai and maybe the large zoo nearby

this part of Kanazawa is known for it's historic buildings and old streets. There are multiple museums about life in Edo era. Some are free by the way
