Since I'm just getting the channel up and running but we're 60% through S2 (and almost 400 of you were kind enough to subscribe to a channel with 0 videos), I wanted to at least get some main points out there before the next episode. The evidence is there, even though it all sounds insane. Reddit: u/ajniggles Images from Westworld are the property of their creators, used here under fair use.
ima be real with you, the stuff about 'i will make you suffer like i did' and springtrapping audio was so much better than connecting solitaire to his solitary confinement IMO. i like this theory, and i will add it to my interpretation of the series
@@shronkler1994 Haha the Solitaire bit was a joke, just parodying when FNAFtubers reveal their big smoking gun evidence in a theory
It makes pittrap interesting. William sees him self as monster with control
dude this theory is great i love it. i was a proponent of the frightsfiction idea after watching siresquawks’ video on it, so i had been running on the idea that the game was an in-universe game (honestly mostly out of cope because i hate the idea of stitchline) but this makes much more sense.
Thanks!
Crackhead theory; Tiger Rock (The Mimic) doesn't dress like Elvis...in The Secret of The Mimic, The Mimic came up with the design that Elvis fell in love with
I always found it weird that they chose a white tiger. Like why not a normal tiger? Maybe I'm reaching really hard here, but it could be a reference to Siegfried and Roy, the iconic performing duo with their white tigers and lions. A white tiger called Mantecore back in 2003 attacked Roy on his birthday almost killing him. William and Henry are a performing duo similar to Siegfried and Roy too. So maybe it's a parallel to them.
Sorry for commenting, deleting and recommenting. For some reason my comment looked like gibberish? At least on my end.
Another brilliant video
Thanks!
Omg thank you for presenting us with an Elvis explanation theory, that fashion choice has always been so random to me
I think tiger rock is an acual animatronic from the old fallfest days and thats why fazbear so happens to have a tiger rock head when mimic chooses a white tiger as its avatar.
i dont think the markiplier shadow bonnie clip is real
Yep I’ve since learned that it is in fact 100% fake 😅
@anderoth65 yeah, wouldve been so cool if it wasnt though!! ah well
1) No the 6th child isn't Charlie, its Andrew. 2) Pittrap has already been confirmed to not be springtrap, the mere presence of the stitchwraith proves that the two can't be the same entity. 3) The rabbit is canonically dead, if it wasn't from the ropes then the stitchwraith would have likely killed it. 4) Its been confirmed that the rabbit is not a hallucination.
To add on to this idea, the whole "unsuspecting child trying to save someone/multiple someones accidentally sets the main antagonist at that point in the timeline free" is what happens in ruin, cassie is tricked by the mimic and lured into the basment of the pizzaplex, breakign open something very similar to the safe room with it being sealed off, and releases the mimic. Its two stories about two kids who accidnetally set evil free, one from the springtrap era, another in the mimic era. It lines up insanely well.
Thank you for bringing that up, I completely neglected to mention it in the video, that it’s part of the long tradition of FNAF games (going back even to Sister Location) where the protagonist ends up being the reason the antagonist is released!
The mimic is Mimicing Afton or is infected by his agony
i like the recurring theme of "naive child trying to save people only to make things worse" in fnaf. it happens with this game and cassie in ruin as you mentioned, but also arguably with the puppet helping the kids possess their suits all the way back in fnaf 2 as well. hell, the candy cadet stories also show this theme.
I feel like if the animatronics represent the three bullies, then Foxy's absence represents how William feels about him: he doesnt. He doesnt care at all. He neglects to think about him, even during his agony shenanigans
I think that’s very likely!
W content
Personally, while I haven't seen the theory YET, my vision is that Into the Pit is not a REAL version of what happened in 1985 I believe that the gameplay we see in into the pit is simply the agony and remnant of all the kids who WERE murdered at Freddy's combining and mixing into a warped hellscape of reality and fiction (kinda like a cruder version of the AR mask) It explains the discrepancy that its the missing children *incident* (ie 5 kids weren't found dead, they were missing and stuffed into the suits) and why afton isn't in the suit We also know that the whole AR system established in recent fnaf adventures can allow for minor "time travel" since often the AR mask will show things as they used to be, but they somehow keep their structure and can be interacted with (Ok so, so far, we are both in a SIMILAR place with the ideas of our theories *but* the only difference so far is that I imply a connection between agony and AR tech.)
I agree with you that Agony is heavily linked to the AR we see in Ruin, likely moreso than most of the community realizes!
In the dumpsters outside the mill we see trash & the gang, Helpy, and a few other things, implying the game takes place after FNAF 6.
I think trash and the gang are actually there in the trash, not hallucinations, and that’s where they’re found later by Dumpster Divers Weekly (or whatever the catalog is called). Helpy is interesting because by the logic of this theory, his presence in the pizzeria’s arcade game implies that he is a product of Afton’s agony, meaning Helpy was known to Afton prior to being springlocked! Who knows what the implications of that are…
This is really well made man! Compliments to the chef, CAUSE YOU'RE COOKING.
Thanks so much, I appreciate the kind words!
this is such a good theory! and i love how you lay out your evidence!! keep up the good work
Thank you so much!
I think there are a few issues with trying to make this game a set up for FNAF 3. FNAF 3 specifically shows the party room Afton gets locked in is in the FNAF 1 pizzeria, which has an entirely distinct layout from Jeff's pizzeria. For example, the party room in the FNAF 1 pizzeria would actually be located closer to the main stage; meanwhile, the party room in Into the Pit is closer to the entrance, which is on the complete opposite side of the building from the main stage. As for this game being canon to the other games in the series, however, I'd say the main issue is that Into the Pit seems to kind of drag artifacts from all across the entire franchise, including multimedia. In the secret backroom we find Oswald's dad in, we see Garrett's toy airplane from the FNAF movie. This would conflict with details like the exotic butters and Foxy mask items in the vending machine, since the airplane would imply this is the movie continuity, but the Foxy mask implies this is the game's continuity. There's also easter eggs like when Oswald has (what seem to be) hallucinations of the cover art for The Twisted Ones; or the references to GGY in the 1985 arcade games, years before Security Breach would likely have even potentially taken place. I don't think Into the Pit is non-canon, but I don't think it's necessarily happening in the mainline games. My best guess is that everything Oswald sees in his hallucinations is the agony taking the collective pain and suffering from all times, places, and realities of the series as a whole and mashing it all together into what we see in the game. Assuming I'm correct about that, it could be a way of explaining Scott's deflection to the Silver Eyes trilogy being non-canon, as he would retort that they were canon, just in a different corner of the FNAF universe. Maybe the agony left behind by the characters in this series has some sort of hivemind-like nature to it, where all the suffering meshes together across timelines. Kind of a crackpot theory, but given how all over the place Into the Pit's easter eggs are, I don't know how else it could all be explained away.
Good theory!
This is a great vid and I wanted to say that a five nights at Freddy’s theory hasn’t made me want to subscribe to a channel in a long time. Very well put together and very compelling evidence.
Thank you so much, that’s high praise!
the stuff around the pica place changes when he travels in to the past and changes stuff, so it has afect on the time line.ALso this is a memory not actual time line from witch we can draw clues and ideas.
I like it.
I’m glad.
This is an extremely interesting theory. We all know the theory taht FNaF 3 taking place in 2023 because of mandatory. And I think Gibi's date of 2015 seems right. But I never heard the theory of FNaF 3 taking place in 2013. Do you know any good theories taking about it taking place then?
0:59 -I think it is only semi-cannon in certain contexts. I think it is one of the in-world games released by Fazbear entertainment to downplay the past events. I feel SOME of the events in here MAY have actually occurred but any of that is mixed in with urban legend elements Fazbear mixed in to middle the truth.
The SuperHorroBro music at 3:48 was a surprise
I love this theory and I had it i my mind since Sister Location came out (That was 8 yrs ago.. I was 9 at that point. Holy cow) And I believe it for so long now! I never heard anyone else mention it and now that we have actually names and stuff to make real points it's even more believable for me. Yea, we don't know what Fritz relationship was with Michael. Fritz also could've been a second sibling of one of the others and Foxy was the only animatronic left to be stuffed. He could've been also another friend of Mike we haven't seen cause he probably wasn't part of the bullying. Either way, the theory is amazing and gives Cassidy actually a really good reason to be different! I also love the theory that Oswald's dad is Freddy Bro! It actually fits tbh. Especially if we already had Cassie and her father who is most likely Bonnie Bro. Then we also have Michael who is Foxy Bro. Only one that's missing is Chica Bro, maybe in the future. Only problem is that in Susie's story (forgot the name) there was never an older sister/brother mentioned. Susie does have a sister but she was way too young to be part of Michael's old friend group. Perhabs that sibling lives somewhere else or perhabs they died (could be due to the guilt or smth) EDIT: I forgot to mention, that Susie not having an older sibling with the right age in her story doesn't have to mean anything cause the books are different to the games. In the books the MCI have different names like the spirit possessing GF is named Michael, one of Charlie's childhood friends. Also smth that I just thought of. Fritz might could be Bonnie Bro's second sibling. Think bout it. Michael and Bonnie Bro always stand close to each other (as far as I remember) Fritz being a younger friend to Mike is somewhat plausible, but it would be more twisted if Fritz was Bonnie Bro's and Jeremy's brother. Maybe Fritz is more of a fan of Foxy, that's why he's possessing Foxy. It's a stretch, I know, but that would be far more twisted. It would also hurt Michael aswell. If he and Bonnie Bro are really so close to ecah other, killing both Jeremy and Fritz would hurt Michael like he lost another sibling, but it wouldn't affect William. Just a small idea, doesn't have to be true. Doesn't even destroy the theory of Cassidy and Jeremy being super close friends and being almost inseparable. Fritz might have been younger or even older that Jeremy. They could have been also twins but they liked different things. Just random thoughts tho lol
Glad you enjoyed the video, and glad someone else had this same idea even earlier! I’m curious to see what we learn of the ChicaBro someday, as that’s probably the weakest connection in this theory. Part of me wondered if Oswald’s mom was connected to the bullies somehow, because she looks similar to Susie and it’s mentioned how Oswald’s parents were together since high school. My head canon theory is that Susie was the little sister of Oswald’s mom, the Chica bully was dating Oswald’s mom and had no siblings of his own, so Afton killed his girlfriend’s little sister as punishment, causing them to break up, and somehow through shared grief of loss Susie’s big sister grew close to Gabriel’s big brother, resulting in Oswald🤷♂️
@@anderoth65 Hm, that is also a pretty good idea!
Just found this channel and immediately love it! Especially after hearing the part between 10:55-11:11! I had that exact same idea for years now! I never heard anyone else talk/think or theorize about it! You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear someone else think that!
Thanks for commenting, glad you enjoyed it! My previous theory video “Secret of the MCI” is entirely about that idea, you should check it out!
@@anderoth65 I definitely will!^^
Oh this is phenomenal I haven't been this excited about a FNAF theory in a long time
I appreciate the kind words!
I just thought Oswald was hallucinating because he wasn’t getting any sleep.
Wait. Is fnaf 3 not at one of the OG locations?
Its unlikely, given that Phone Dude says that they have to "bring it in" when referring to the Springtrap suit
Yyooooooo the agony is real?!
10:32 I hear "They will make you suffer just like I did." though.
Really really compelling, especially the kids drawings I think its just too weird to think that they’d remake the exact drawings from fnaf 3 for this game for no reason
Thank you!
Dude, this theory blew me AWAY, AWAY I MEAN. I'm one of those peeps that says that this game isn't canon to the main games, but this vid has me doubting myself. I was drawing while listening to this, and when you said that Oz freeing his dad was actually him freeing William, I stopped and grabbed my head as in "omggg no WAY-" covering my mouth and everything, I swear lmao I REALLY want Matpat to react to this now GOD. Great job!
Thanks so much! Getting a bigger theorist to address a theory seems like the quickest way to expose these ideas to the broader community, so here’s hoping someone like RyeToast or Fuhnaff takes notice!
sadly he wont cus hes leaving gtlive as well
The phone dude's voice matches Jef's personality so well... I love this theory! 😂
Thank you!
I thought it was a gas leak causing Oswald to have these hallucinations and there is a gas that William Afton uses on kids like that story with Rory.
Awesome theory! Love that the "one you should not have killed" is because Cassidy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, makes a lot more sense!
I can dig it. this is cool
Thanks!
3:24 oh boy, it's the markiplier shadow bonnie hoax lol
Yea bro ngl I saw it took a second look and was like yea that’s def fake
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I missed the fact that it’s fake! I actually forgot to use another visual from Ruin that better illustrates the prevalence of Agony in the ruined Pizzaplex; next time!
@@anderoth65 no problem haha that one got a lot o people tbh
Wasn't FNAF World an officially released game on steam too?
And is also still considered canon
Wait do people still think fnaf world isn’t canon??
Goat fnaf channel bro
1 Question I have based on a common assumption; Wasn't Fnaf 3 in 2023, not 2013? Because one thing is if Jeff still has the Springtrap suit locked up after a year, and a quite different story if its been 11 years
I agree with this, I have not heard 2013 as a proposed year before. I personally believe it to be 2015, based on hints from the Survival Logbook, the year of the game's release, and the wording of the Steam description.
2023 still works, because the graphic novel of Into the Pit lightly confirms that it takes place in 2020. That's not that big of a gap comparatively.
I've seen some say that Fnaf 3 takes place in 2015 because of the story "You're the band" from the Fazbear Frights books
Been waiting for this since last video
@@Blueon123 Thank you! Hope you enjoyed
I agree with a lot of the theory, just the rats comment seemed like a huge stretch. Great channel! Keep up the good work
Thanks!
Oooo more great theories! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WE GOT HIM Also to follow up on the watching eyes bit. The title screen of ITP being an old tv with pit traps head brings more parallels to pit trap watching 👀
@@ThrowingQueens Great catch and connection! There are also two visual layers on the security cameras (two borders, two red recording dots), a similar theme of meta-watching
@@anderoth65 👀👀👀👀
I never noticed the eyes!!
I feel like if Oswald's dad's brother was killed at the freddy fazbears pizza that became Jeff's pizza, he would not be regularly leaving his son unsupervised at that location. I get that theyre poor and he doesnt have a lot of options, but he'd surely leave him a n y w h e r e else
True facts oswald dad confirmed he visited freddy when he like oswald age
I am also a believer in the theory that fnaf 3 good ending or both endings are cannon so if this is right that means crying child plus the siblings moved on in the happiest day except Cassidy and puppet, also I am a believer in theory in 1987mci2 theory and us being wrong/right about molten Freddy so this would make thematic sense where the kids who were actually targeted victims who were not just remanent experiments find peace first
Wtf is this cherry picked information, every single one of the missing children have a name that means "god's *something*" with William center point as the god imagery.
This is a really cool theory. If the Bite Victim or Dave is in Golden Freddy alongside Cassidy then that furthers the connection imo since he is Mikes brother
Oh this is a good idea, i like it
In regards to details from "The Week Before", there are heavy implications about how the FNAF1 location is physically connected, through traversable passages, to other locations. It kind of reminded me of how they are called "The Missing Children" and it's made me wonder; were they literally "missing", as in taken off-sight from the place they were kidnapped from? I don't want to get too into spoiler territory with The Week Before if you have not read it yet, but it really brings up a lot of questions about the building layout, how locations are connected and how one might be able to travel between places without being seen on a security camera.
Its more likely that these vents connect to closed off parts of the building, making it possible for it to be the fnaf 2 location with closed off areas
