where is that option, I do not see it in Autocad 2024
GOOD surveyors go to the closest DATUM POINT (USGS marker) and work from IT. When my late parents bought the vacant lot to the north of their property, the surveyor did just that! I was 11 1/2 and I followed him all the time he was "shootin' it"(His quote). The Datum Point was in the middle of Dowell Services, 900-odd feet from my parent's house. They used the SAME Datum point to survey MY property when I purchased it 40 years ago next week! The abstract says the house was built 100 years ago this month. I'm on Viola Fowler's Cherokee Allotment, Indian Territory, granted to her uncle Archer Yahola in 1887. Anything earlier IS ILLEGAL aka: a "Sooner". SHE was the inspiration for the fiction books about Osage Indians being murdered for their "headrights". Her first husband killed FOUR other Cherokee wives and was plotting to kill HER when he was caught, tried and hung in front of the BRAND-NEW Tulsa County Court House at 5th and Boulder (as named today). Miss Fowler owned 56,000+ acres in Tulsa County. At .60 an acre in 1900 dollars that was a LOT of money!
Grainy effect is because it's not a photograph, but hundrends of thousands of survey grade points from a LiDAR scanner!

Type in PR to go to Options menu. On options menu, click on "Display" tag at top left. Under "Window Elements" you can pick "light" or "Dark" just to the right of the "Color scheme:"

Sir, how much does the software cost? I work for a company that uses this software for modeling. I would like to learn how to use it.
You can ask Carlson Southwest for a quote. They have the more expensive Carson Survey OEM (AutoCAD OEM) and they have Carlson Survey IntelliCAD.
This guy is an idiot buy a scanner 1997 called they want there drafting standards back
A radiation survey seems to conflict with a survey working from a whole to a part, can you please explain this? I am very confused by how it works. No surveyor I have ask will dare to answer the question.
Modern Surveyors use random control points, or traverse points, and then compile the data in the office. The old days of setting up on a boundary corner and backsighting another boundary point are gone........................it's quicker and less money and just as accurate to do it this way.
