It works by class ranking generally. Top in the class gets first pick, second gets second pick and so on

the ENJJPT program, generally speaking, doesn't drop cargo aircraft. Everyone trains in the T-38 to go fighters or bombers and sometimes special ops!

@@theloopholeisntaahol I'm reluctant to say never because weird things can happen. However, we do not get any assignments to our mobility command (AMC). In order for how we get assignments its the ACC (fighters), then global strike (bombers), then AFSOC (spec ops). So generally if you don't go to a fighter then a bomber is where you will go since they have the second dibs. If you have luck and timing sometimes AFSOC will come our way but that usually goes to the other UPT bases instead. All this to say, there are Hercs in AFSOC so it's possible to get a C- aircraft.. it just isn't often as of lately with the needs of the Air Force and the mission of ENJJPT.

@@kittyshank7 What's so lucky about AFSOC? So I guess you must go through ENJJPT to fly the V-22? And yeah the Navy and Marines desperately need fighter guys now. Too many JOs are dipping at 8 years because of the airline hiring craze right now and they are offering good money. Additionally the Marines have a new platform and not enough people to fly them. Almost all Marine students are going F-35s now.

There are plenty of Africans Americans in the military along with Latinos and other minority groups. The reason you see less of the than whites is because there are way more whites then there are minority groups because they are minority groups. picking a minority group member because they are a minority group member is not only racism but it also weakens the military because you are picking an underqualified person over someone more qualified due to ethnicity. In war, black, white, red, or blue the enemy won't give a shit and more Americans are going to die if we adopt a policy similar to yours.

@@leonardomascaro6445 The armed forces are a meritocracy, you can be anything you want to be, but don't use the color of your skin, use your ability. Pilots in particular are the cream of the crop, because they are judged on one thing, ability.

@@thomassweeney1258 My father was a Tuskegee Airman. I was a Capt. and Naval Aviator in the USMC. I drove F4s and FA 18s.

Hey dude, thats kind of the point. These guys are presumably from other NATO countries that have come to train in the US. ENJJPT stands for Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training.

You gonna have an issue getting a TS. Not saying it will be denied, naturalized types can get TS, but in today's clearance environment, any reason to deny it will be embraced and your application will get shredded. Blame Snowden.
