To The 2019-20 Bronxville Athletic Council - notably Grace MacSherry, Hanna Bishop, Tim Murray As a member of the Bronxville Coaching Staff 1973-1998; 2002-2017, let me congratulate all the Bronco athletes of this past year and a special thanks and good luck to Karen on her retirement. Bronco athletics has perennially been a hallmark for almost all students and their coaches at this prestigious school. We were all a team; working tirelessly to be our best on every field of endeavor. Behind the scenes, though present at all the events were our AD's- the likes of Bill Green, Vito Priore, Ron Catena and most recently, Karen Peterson. Through the years of floods, major changes to the buildings and the fields, these individuals worked to keep Bronxville Athletics going smoothly. Unfortunately, this year ended abruptly with the Coronavirus cancellation of school activities but again the Bronxville athletes and coaches fought hard to salvage the Spring. THAT ATTITUDE IS BRONXVILLE!! This virtual program tonight is testimony to that attitude. Finally, I had the opportunity to work under all of these AD's and am grateful for those years and want to congratulate Karen on her retirement. You students of the past 20+ years have had the good fortune of having Ms. Peterson as AD and you were very lucky to have known and worked with her. She is the - epitome of a good person- honest, caring, understanding - coupled with an incomparable work ethic. Congratulations, Karen and to all you athletes!
